Men, editorial reviews are just meaningless. They hold as much credibility as horse dung sold as perfume. Editorial reviewers don't even give a toss any more about how blatantly daft their reviews are and they jsut don't care. They know the vast majority of the gaming community now are sheep to reviews and will just say and do what ever they want.
They have no accountability anymore and the sad thing is they just don't care about that at all. The industry is really a mess this ...

I don't know if she's legit but it does seem like she is. She doesn't talk in definites most of the time and comes off as an individual who's, in some capcity, always involved in the day to day activities of the industry maybe not a very well know Xter.... maybe.
I like her. She comes off straight, passionate about the industry & community and doesn't like to take crap from anyone. That last one's what makes me really like her. :)
Well the 2d/3d shade thingy is already known... or so I thought since Capcom brought out the trailer for it. It's obviously taken the cell shading art direction from the trailer we've seen.

See that's the point I was trying to get across months ago on some forum. People ask "who are these people still buying PS2s?" and the fact of the matter is, a very large majority of the xbox fanbase that were dumbed by MS and couldn't make the early leap to current gen; that's who.

Oh dare. If MS actually shares the sames views as you do and uses the list you provided as a true goal bench mark, then I feel sorry for them cause not one thing on that list is what is needed to win a console generation battle.
One or two of those are good to have but will not win you the war at all. It's hope MS isn't going by that list cause if it is then the 360 is definitly ending up like the xbox at the end of this gen.

LOL, you're really exaggerating aren't you? XD I mean come on, only the 40gig version has no PS2 BC but it still has PS1 BC. Sony isn't removing BC from it's console, it's just giving an alternate option for those who dont have the need to have PS2 BC games to have a cheaper alternative.
Men, Sony could give their console to the public for free and somebody will still find something to bitterly complain about it's price.

HA! Look, people were still buying the PS1 in 2005. Why's eevryone trying to spin the success of the PS2 as a bad thing for Sony? The PS2's success is obviously a bad thing for the likes of the 360 and wii. I mean hey, if people are buying your last gen product over the competiton's current gen products then the competition really have a lot of problems cause what does that say about the popularity of their product?

A human PinBall machine game, Nice. Gosh, there's just so much variety in the Playstation library of games.
I like having a go on Pinball machines when ever I get a chance so it'll definitly try out this new take on it. Hell, it'll cost btw $5.99 - $9.99, not exactly breaking the bank for me anyways.
You kinda tend to forget many PC gamers won't have PCs that can run this puppy properly. For these many PC gamers, the PS3 offers an incredible option of having high quality specs consistantly through the years. So for gamers that love the PC feel but don't have the finances to constantly upgrade (which is a hell of a lot of PC gamers) the PS3 is a great & very viable option. Much cheaper in the long run too.

And this is why I've repeatedly said I will not be buying anything brand new from Ubisoft for the PS3. Any of their games I'm interested in, like Assasin's Creed, I'll rent or buy a USED copy.
