I'm going with NBA 09 this year cause of the story mode.
It is then that they can realize all the things they've want to execute in their games. Come over to the the PS3 and use those Edge tool sets and watch your games soar. lol
Now their core fanbase is the general public instead of the normal core gamer. So seeing as the population of the general public seriously out weighs the population of core gamers (or people who consider themselves core gamers), Nintendo's Wii has been doing well.
Played Atari sure but was totally drawn into to gaming when the NES took root.
Was about to stop gaming (or slow down considerably) until Kutaragi San & Kojima San showed me what the future was gaming was goin to be with MGS1 on the PS1 - SOLD!
VGs have over taken movie watching for my digital entertainment especially this gen.
There hasn't been any MMO on consoles this gen and yes, if you make a console MMO you'll have to make it for the console gaming demographic or it'll flop hard - I would think this is common bloody sense.
There are alot of MMOs comming out soon and they all look like they have great potential to do well so this guy needs to stop crying and eitehr step up to the challenge or STFU and keep making PC MMOs he's confortable with.

2 years from now when the rental stuff gets sorted out, considering how short the memory span of the general gaming community is, no one will remember the growing pains and we'll all be looking to b* about something else. XD

HOME is essentially Yahoogames/music.com; gamingsite forums like gamestrailers, gamespot IGN etc; N4G; Facebook & Myspace all rolled into one, offering 10X more features than they all do and injected with some serious steroids.
Any gamer that uses any of the above services and says they won't be using HOME is just BSing themselves. I dare any core PS3 gamers NOT to have this installed and used on their PS3.

I remember very well before Haze went multiplat and then exclusive to the PS3, how 360 fans would always put HAZE on the top of those lists to show off all the great games coming to the 360.

However, I do think this will likely be the look of HOME on the PS4. As it stands now, the avatars like exactly like HOME's too.
But I think the PS fanbase would have no problems in paying $20 if the game's quality and worth it.
If gamers don't think the game's worth the price, it'll come down eventually. I see no reasoning for complaining. It's not like they're forcing anyone to pay that price cause you have a choice.
The game will only sell at the price and do well if gamers think it's worth it.

Nah dude, the gameplay in NBA is better than on Live for me. The only things that aren't as good are visuals and some technical issues.
I saw an interview on NBA 09 on QORE and it looked like they bumped up a lot of stuff but what really did it for me is the story mode. I'm tired of doing the same stuff over and over again every year; I want something different, something new.
