You never go up against people who are using keyboard and mouse if you're using controller unless you opt into PC lobbies by inviting someone on PC to your party (or joining there's). Apex is one of the only games with purely input based matchmaking, and no mixing unless players opt in. It was no where near as bad as AC Valhala. Just google about the audio issues with this game, it's not just bugged, it's completely fucked up. I can hardly get through 10 minutes of gameplay without seeing something weird happening on screen. Glitch after glitch, non-stop immersion breakers. (I have it on both PS4 Pro and PC).
