Eh...
The story is definitely worse but there's more to these games than that. Gameplay, loot, endgame and build variety is definitely better in 3. I think they did a great job with the game, some of the DLC is fantastic too.
There have been some good adaptations recently though. I think the Gran Turismo movie is really good and The Last of Us and Fallout TV shows are great too.
If they're going to try, some of them are going to fall short. That's just inevitable. If anything we should encourage more effort so that they learn more about what makes some of these work, while others don't. Honestly I think Borderlands should have been a hit, but I think it would have been much better a...
That's great. The animations also looked quite awkward in first person.
Definitely not true. Crystal have kept the majority of their team, know a lot of folks that work there.
Don't disagree with you about the general sentiment towards Embracer though.
It's not even related to that, it's some really wild fan theory about their being a hidden game in the game that no one can access because it's too hard or secret.
The thing is that it isn't due to an absence of focus on singleplayer content for Sony. The studios that they historically focused on singleplayer games, are still focusing on singleplayer games. While Sony do have a live service initiative, most of these have been new studios and Sony still have an abundance of funding for singleplayer games.
More of the problem, is that these games now take twice as long to develop, and cost many times more than they did before. So e...
I mean the premesis of the article isn't true. The idea that Helldivers 2 was Sony's 'big push into live gaming' is just nonsense. You can see this game was handled like an indy title, and even the studio itself didn't expect it's success.
Personally I think they need to support it like No Man's Sky. Not a game where people will play daily for the rest of their lives, but keep adding cool shit so it's a fun game to go back to and check new s...
Are things really that difficult for you purple? Don't ask questions in bad faith.
I don't need to answer you. We know why this is confusing for you. You're a bigot.
Probably to establish the gender identity of the characters? Not complicated for most of us.
Almost no games have mixed input matchmaking. XDefiant, Apex, Destiny... and so forth, just split the player base based on input, it's much fairer for both sides. No one is going to get 'screwed'.
Going to be honest I think most of the blame does fall on Arrowhead. If they knew account linking was a requirement as part of their publishing relationship with Sony then they should have had the game reflect that on day one.
It’s alright but honestly soo dull compared to Helldivers 2. The systemic design in HD2 makes for a much more interesting game.
On PS5 even crossplay doesn’t work with all PC accounts. I have plenty of PC friends where the invites never go through and theirs aren’t received. Crossplay without a unified account system is always a nightmare, none of us should be punching in friend codes in 2024.
They shouldn’t have tried to change this post launch but they should have had it in on day 1.
I think it just has a lot to do with the game not being very good and on top of that it has a really aggressive monetisation strategy.
Ah yes, Killzone that'll light the world on fire.
I'm joking but I do wish it were likely or more popular.
I do like this game too but it needs more polish. Visually it's very hit and miss and the combat could be better, the very tanky shielded enemies get quite annoying and there's really not a lot of enemy variety either.
It doesn't look like it plays much like DMC at all. Seems a lot slower, more like something like Nioh, really. I guess they just needed to fit the pun into the title.
A lot of people like 2042, it doesn't benefit EA to stop working on it, and I bet the devs are happy doing it too. If you want to feel sorry for any developers it should be based on their working conditions, not to fit whatever agenda of games you don't like.
Probably because it’s just a launch exclusive too. I think people are tired of / don’t value that. It might be a cool game (who knows at this stage) but people will just wait for it to be on their desired platform either way.
What are you talking about? Every movie is inherently political by virtue of the themes and content that it features. Movies that you don't see an agenda in, just align with your agenda.
