What? 'if you're not watching anything at 1080p it won't look right at all'.
I play my PS3 on a monitor, basically same specs as this one. All resolutions look perfect.
Mines a 26" Acer. 2ms, contrast ratio is the same.
Performs sublimely.
This level looks like Metropolis from Sonic 2. There's no levels like this in Sonic 1.
Seems true, why would a respectable magazine flat out lie? It's not April fools, there's really no incentive to make this shit up considering the credibility they'd lose.
Anyway, if I'm being honest... in my 14 years of gaming this is by far the most amazing thing I've ever herd. If this game was released, then suddenly everything aside my PS3, and I ceased to exist (no more games, ever). I think I could still keep myself entertained, for life.
This video was nice clarification though. The way people have been speaking, this ruins the game. Many games feature relatively long load times, little big planet for example takes around 30-40 seconds to load. If you actually watched this takes around 50, not 3 minutes.
50 to load up a track, 15 to go to the modspot. That's pretty sweet considering how content rich both of which are. The initial load does seem excessive, not going to bother me since it's a one time ...
loool I always think these are serious articles then I see it's the hiphopgamershow.
Why do these get hosted? He just makes news up based on other current news.
This worked, last year. E3 was streamed onto home, I was there, we watched the 2hour presentation with a group of like 100 people.
It wasn't exactly live though, it was ~1hour delayed.
I believe they also did the same thing with the Tokyo game show in the closed beta.
Maybe cause you guys didn't go to the Playstation podium to watch it? I think that's the only screen it's on, it's the largest screen too, the rest just loop adverts.
There's ...
I thought the trailer was lame. Some bald geeky kid.
The best Microsoft adds include XBOXs and girls, usually at some kind of party. Suggesting Halo might one day get you laid would probably be better than this, I don't see this impressing anyone that's not already into Halo.
Not to mention in the UK, these adds only appear to be on after 12. Kinda useless.
Used to happen to me occasionally when I used to buy things on Live. Always seemed to resolve itself quickly.
I'm gonna get a million disagrees for saying this, but it just looks like a dumbed down unreal tournament to me. Looks kinda like Unreal 2003 in terms of pacing... that's pretty slow relative to UT3 though.
Hopefully it'll have good singleplayer cause the MP doesn't look like anything particularly special.
Points 4 and 1 are lies. PSN and XBOX Live always go as fast as my bandwidth allows, the servers on both are great, and the connection consistent. I seem to have a few more issues with NAT types on 360, but nothing too much big of a deal. Dedicated servers on the PS3s side are very awesome, and I refuse to play online games without them, but cross-game chat is cool too.
Plus, Sony innovate plenty. Bluray, 3D. They tried motion tracking control and it didn't work out for them at ...
If patcher did make exceptions for different markets, then he shouldn't have said what he said, or was quoted badly. I can't be bothered to read the whole article, honestly.
I watched one of patchers videos once, he is disgustingly patronizing, it's agonizing.
Plus, of course you also have to take consideration to titles which just can't run on other systems. Which the 3 systems out on the market are so diverse they're always going to have 'exclusives' designed and...
Yesterday From Software announced another PS3 exclusive.
There is zero possibility it will see the light of day on PS3, it's not leaving Japan so there's no viable market.
This is an example of why there will always be third party exclusives.
Because as PS3 life time sales expectations increase support increases, and support for the competition decreases.
Like it says, no individual is bidding for this.
I'd think for 1000k it'd be a competitor, that's too much for a tech reporting site/mag to pay.
Not like Natal uses 10-15% processing power. So if Natal controls are going to be reverse implemented, you can expect to see a reduction in performance.
Of course it's going to be this way with tech introduced half way through the systems lifecycle.
If the lawsuit against Sony removing other OS support goes fine, these guys should have a decent case in court. So long as they're Europeans.
Sounds okay. Pre-release review at 93... so probably an 82-87 meta.
Not AAA, but a good game. (my predicition)
By the way, If anyone uses Metal Gear 4 as an example of a sub hd game, especially when comparing to 540p... I am going to flip. Metal Gear Solid 4 is 768p rather than 780, the difference isn't going to be enough to be picked up to the untrained eye, whereas 540 vs 720 is completely different.
I'm not saying I care that it's 540p, I'm just sa...
Okay
1) Microsoft don't count the units they replace, through warranty as a unit sold. They're not allowed to. So maybe sure, there's only about 35 mil out there, then 3million more basically bricked because of the modding bans. But it's not 25 million.
2) These are figures are SHIPPED, not sold. http://news.vgchartz.com/ne...
3) Microsoft aren't in great form. The 360 install base...
Yeah sorry man but this is the worst review I've ever seen.
It doesn't make sense, the scores don't reflect your opinion in the post, there is no online yet somehow you revived it.
Seriously, are you sure what you were playing was FF13? It's also nothing like FF7, and much closer in nature to FF10 if anything.
Simply moronic.
Coldfire there are about 40-50 native 1080p games on PS3. Not 6.
