This is the 4th time I've been tricked into loading up one of his videos. Deceptive titles and no mention of hiphopgamer till the video starts. Christ.
So they put there leading franchise as 360 exclusive, where it's even easier to pirate games.
The game is 5hours long, and during those 5hours plays pretty mediocre. Who cares?
I'm sure it will be on PS3, as all the other SC games were released the same way, but the bottomline is that the game kinda sucks. No one will be raving over a AA title, to be honest, especially when the other side already has a superior stealth title, and Syphon Filter to come.
I mean, it wasn't only the fact that it was co-op that it wasn't scary. It'd have been a good deal better by giving players limited ammo supplies, as it was it was a shoot fest.
Plus I think co-op would've been a lot scarier if the two partners were split up, a lot.
Might have something to do with 9million sales, and in turn a little more to do with marketing of Halo, than the game itself. As we know it as a franchise has also been marketed the best, of any console game by quite a long mile, and I think that has a lot to do with sales, and in turn popularity.
Either way, this was obviously targed at a very biased demographic, else super mario, pokemon, or gran turismo would easily take the title. God knows how Halo did, in all honesty. ...
Nuts and bolts was a good game. It just wasn't what it's fanbase wanted, and so it floped as they would have essentially been better off establishing a new IP rather than milking Banjo Kazooie.
Microsoft bought them for there IPs though, so I guess Rare didn't have a choice in the matter.

That's the worst suicide attempt I've ever heard of. It's obviously a series of murders. No one stabs themself to commit suicide, especially when they are already near a high fall.
It's true. But it's not just N4G... it's all over the internet. Most 'unbiased' console sites, communities are PS3 bias.
People follow trends, and all that. Now the PS3 looks to be seeing a lot more success than the 360, and it looks like it'll win the HD side of this generation. So people switch sides, when it looked like the PS3 was going to pull a dreamcast (even though this was never even a possibility) people were happy to troll it.
For there target audience, to me. I know there are 'hardcore' Smash Bros players and all that but you've gotta accept that the largest appeal of that type of game is to kids.
I think unifying there IPs into any type of game would be a good idea, but it doesn't necessarily need to be a relatively badly designed brawler... we have Platformers and Racers which offer this type of thing already (MNR and LBP) and it seems Sony are trying to push there IPs into shoo...
It'll kill the system as media device. Bluray is essentially the next DVD, and indeed there will come a time (probably within the next generation of video games consoles) where movies stop going to DVD. Which will cause some serious problems for MS.

You forgetting what Diddy Kong racing is? It's a spin off off Donkey Kong, if they can't get Goldenye there's no way you'll see Diddy Kong titles. He even wears an Official Nintendo cap.

Because Perfect Dark was second choice because Nintendo wouldn't let them have Goldeneye. Plus Perfect Dark is Rare's own IP, whereas Goldeneye is not so there's plethora of licensing issues tied up to Goldeneye.
Only game I'd like to see on that list would be Skies of Arcadia. Lylat Wars would be nice but the gameplay hasn't aged particularly well. Starforx Assault on the gamecube followed the Starfox 64 formula to a tee and wasn't recieved particula...
Speedfreaks? Kinda reminds me of that game. I used to love it as a kid too, the mechanics are closer to Speedfreaks than Mario Kart/CTR too. Even the artstyle is similar...

Only way Microsoft can go is with Natal, even if they did theoretically 'win', it'd be sad day when that crap managed to overshadow titles like The Last Guardian.
The only way Microsoft can really 'win' E3 would be with a good show/marketing. SDo at least a decent number of people can believe it won, if they want to.
