Pre-alpha means very little since it's the same engine used in KZ2. It won't look much better on release.

Younger kids have faster reactions, and will have an easier time with these types of games. Whilst they might have a tougher time with the 'learning curve' because at some ages they're frankly, ignorant. So long as they know what they're doing, they will be able to do it better than any adult.

People pre-ordering now, are fanboys. No offense to anyone but pre-orders at this stage, with no reviews and whatnot... casuals don't watch/follow E3... so I don't have another explanation.

Not that I don't think It won't outsell the move mind you, it's now the focus of the 360 platform. The Move whilst personally as a core gamer I believe looks considerably more fun won't look as good as Kinect to the short sighted and ignorant.

Makes sense, it is a better, and future proof system. People are finally coming to realise this, what with wanting to finally watch Bluray movies, and 3D films, and so on. Although I know a standalone bluray player is cheaper, the PS3 definitely offers fantastic value considering all its services.

Still need better sales in America though. Kevin Butler is helping, but the PS3 needs an extremely accessible, addictive FPS to take a foothold. GT5 will seal the deal in Europe, an...

PS+ price as XBLA, so as a PS3 consumer you can get the standard service, and all the additional content which comes with playstation plus.

Overall, if you're paying for PS plus, PSN offers a better service with various useful features that XBLA doesn't offer. If you're not paying for Playstation Plus then you still have a better service:value ratio (by miles), with it costing nothing.

It's a win-win situation for all PS3 users.

Not really though, I mean Microsoft do allow all those crappy user created indy games and stuff on there network, so they are lenient about some stuff. I guess that's more to do with cheap dev kits though, not really a good thing either. About 2 out of 1000 of those games are even half-decent.

Pretty cool though.

When I first got OOT, there was a save on it called 'link' in the water dungeon. For whatever reason, I just played it from there. Great memories even though for me, the game started on the 'hardest' dungeon in the game.

Personally I thought the water dungeon was the most inventive, this could also easily be seen as 'oh, we're dumbing it down for the casuals'. No thanks.

I wonder if they can afford to push a console on a loss for 10 years... probably not. I can't see them having much flexibility if there system causes financial difficulties.

I'll watch it, but I'm not buying one. The other Sega consoles never had a 'great' lineup. Only thing that's annoying is, I guess I won't get to play Yakuza 5, and so on?

Ah okay... so that's why the screenshots aren't the best quality.

There's a weird filter on those images, not how it looked during gameplay, or how killzone 2 looked.

Resolution is far from everything.

Look very close.

3DS is better though, of course because it's 3D, which requires more processing power. And I'm sure it could up the graphical quality of it's titles, rather significantly if it weren't outputing them in 3D, too.

Sony will need to release another handheld soon if they want to keep selling units. The games coming up for the PSP right now are really great, but a next gen PSP doesn't mean development has to stop for current,...

Still don't like him. Portal was okay, but most people liked it because it was basically an 'extra' in orange box, or free at times on steam.

As a full feature game, this is going to offer a lot more than a linear, puzzler with a 3hour campaign. Especially since it has no multiplayer and whatnot, although I could see MP working well myself.

Shame it's just a PSN game, unless it's an expensive one it'll be kinda short, and probably lacking plot-wise.

I prefered Rayman in 2D, to be honest. Not that the original wasn't good though but I thought 2 was a better game.

Doesn't really matter how good the natal games come out are(i'm not saying ki... it's horrible) when you've only got 2 games lined up for your existing fanbase (the 'hardcore'), and the competition has like 10... it's really quite pathetic.

Personally I prefer the lush, green jungle enviroments of past halo games, to the wartorn barren wastelands seen here.

The space combat seemed cool, wonder if you can drop-in/out of your ship (like StarWars BattleFront games).

So you wana buy 4 multiplatform games... for the year.

Doubt you'll see a bluray player, there is no need for kinect titles, and that's where the development focus, and funding is now. So.
