SE is purposely turning this thing into an episodic game because they want more money and they know they'll get away with it to because of the nostalgia people have for FFVII. I won't be caught dead supporting this. And everyone on here defending this BS is gonna be crying when 5 years from now every studio is breaking games up into episodes and charging full price for each one.
Combat looks awful. Not to mention the constant sugar coating from the narrators like "you'll be able to slow time mid battle to strategically strategize the most strategic strategy. Games like BB don't come around often. It's got that deep abstract lore you can get immersed in and there are so many different weapons and ways to build characters that you could play it ten times over and it would be different every time. It's not one you want to miss.
Don't get me wrong, I absolutely loved Persona 5, but you can't mention best PS4 exclusives without mentioning Bloodborne. Best game of the generation hands down.
Square hasn't put a good FF game out since X. Hell even X-2, with as terrible of a story as that game had, was better than XII, XIII and XV. You wanna know the reason why they haven't stuck with a battle system after X-2? It's cause they're all trash. Depends on if they try and make Infinite a Destiny clone. Halo's mp has always felt balanced and skill based to me because everyone has the same guns. With Destiny, if you didn't grind 100 hours for the top tier pvp weapons you are typically at a disadvantage. If it's just another shooter looter grind fest I'm out. Made the mistake of buying D2 and I'll literally never go back.

Agreed this is total bullshit. It makes sense why they didn't patch the current version to take advantage of the pro. Just another thing they can lock behind the new version so people like us have to rebuy the game entirely. It's their loss though because this would be a day 1 purchase for me as an upgrade or dlc.
Not true. P4G was a console switch from PS2 to Vita. They did this with P3 but that was back before the days of dlc. There is no reason why this shouldn't be an upgrade or dlc for current P5 owners.
Yeah and P4 to P4G was ps2 to vita so it was kind of a console jump too. I really hope they do some kind of upgrade or dlc option. Like as a digital owner I can't even trade up to it or sell my copy to get the new version. Seems kinda whack they would do that to the people who originally supported the game in the first place.
I feel the same way right now especially if they are gonna charge full price for it. Kinda pisses me off that the pro performance increases are locked to the newer version too. If they don't offer it as dlc or as an upgrade to existing owners I'm probably just gonna wait until it's massively on sale. And they made it even longer which seems insane to me considering I don't think I beat it until at least 110 hours.
