Why would retail pricing affect profits for CDPR? They sell their games at wholesale prices to retailers who then sell it to customers but before that CDPR has to pay for many production fees for the console versions that either doesn't exist or are significantly cheaper on Pc so it's likely they pass those costs onto the retailers who proceed to pass it on to us.
Companies are run by people & people tend to be entirely ignorant of what the hell their sister companies may be doing, heck most the time they don't know what they're doing themselves, they just hope they get by.
@Krad1989 No need to be toxic because he's pointing out others rose tinted glasses. Choose what differences they wish to perceive when in reality it's quite obvious.
@Conzul, Of course they are. Why wouldn't mods be a valid topic in graphical comparisons? May not be important now but certainly a factor when it comes to a long term investment so it's always relevant.
I don't particularly care for transgenders... I don't hate them but would prefer they remain outcasts. Intersex is a little different & I can accept them but for some reason I'm just fed up of hearing about transgenders(people born 100% biologically one gender opting to be another) pretending to be something that they're not. I can accept gays and gay marriage but something just disturbs me about non-intersex transgenders, perhaps the deception.
Sleeping Dogs(True Crime) all over.
You will only want the 980 if you want to max every single setting. Something like a second gen+ i5 or fx 8350 paired with a 7970 or 680 should still run this game quite nicely with several settings maxed, 7870 or 660ti should remain a playable experience similar to PS4.
Why? The gains aren't worth the investment given that AMD's R* 3** series is supposedly around the corner. On another note if bang for buck is your main concern, I'd suggest looking at the R9 295x2 if you can handle it, it's had some amazing prices lately & still remains the fastest graphics card topping even the latest Titan.
While 'at what res' was a valid question, claiming 1080p as a last gen standard is hardly accurate when it is still the standard today. On another note I fully expect 4k to EVENTUALLY become the mainstream replacement, I don't think QHD will ever become mainstream- MAYBE in budget markets but I just don't see it.
Yeah but the games themselves will continue on thanks to the power of the cloud!

He got smoked by a pair of nuts, such a hero.
I the gaming ages demographic would be fairly evenly split between those that are under 30 & those that are over 30.
I disagreed with you purely because of your choice to use the word 'wahhbulance'. I agree with your context though.
Why do people allow such baseless speculation to reach the top of the site?
I like metacritic, the only issue it brings is when publishers rely on metacritic for making any decision. It's just a rough measurement to a games quality, nothing more, nothing less.
If a company wants to set bonuses based on quality you need to use more than a rough guide to determine whether or not it meets the requirements- you need to compare to what the publisher sets as for its goals & then determine whether they've met those requirements as the publisher ...
This is terrible in my opinion, I'm the least busy guy I know & I still frequently get interrupted for large periods while gaming, in MP games I do my best to overcome them but that's not always possible (phone calls, door knock, dinner, bossy family member, children, animals misbehaving, toilet, snack breaks).
I don't mind being restricted in how I pause- like not being able to adjust inventory & shit but being able to pause should be an essential feature in every...
Game releases fluctuate. Generally more games are released late August to early Decemeber, with another decent spike around March, rest of the year is normally barren.
It's not a stereotype, it's the truth, I can't recall a single GTA V or Halo 3/Reach session that wasn't plagued by screaming kids.
About 3.
