The problem isn't about accepting other peoples appreciation of any system. The problem is when this writer tries writing an obvious flame bait article passing off opinions as fact. The problem is when this writer makes ridiculous statements like "Mass Effect has the BEST story in gaming history". Really? In all of gaming history? How exactly can he prove that statement? The problem is when this writer writes an article where he praises games like Mass Effect 1 and Lost Odyssey ...
Everyone is entitled to their opinion and I applaud this writer for staying loyal to xbox even through a time when xbox has been under a lot of scrutiny these last few years. But I do agree that this writer is confusing his opinions for facts. For example:
#1. the writer claims Mass Effect has the "BEST story in gaming history". Thats a very bold statement. Did the writer play every game in gaming history to be able to make that statement? Very debatable.

You raise some very good points. I own both a Vita and a 3DS and I agree I prefer the Vita as well. The problem with 3DS for me is that the games are mostly mascot games or JRPGs. The Vita has more mature themed games as well as their own mascot games and RPGs. Plus the graphics on Vita are so much better. Just my opinion.

With a minimum 10 hour campaign and a surprisingly addictive multiplayer, the game in my opinion is a justifiable full price pickup right now.

Thanks for commenting Ezz2013. I was debating giving the game a higher review score, but in all honesty I felt the story was a little weaker than the previous GOW trilogy and the audio was a bit off. Other than that, I felt Ascension was a great game. Glad you enjoyed it.

@Coolbeans...to clear up any confusion, my other submission is focusing on the numeric review for the game. This submission is meant to be an open discussion on what people think about the game itself without the labels of "review scores".
@tachyon....actually, the PS3's strongest market is Europe. PS3's second strongest market is Japan. It was even reported that PS3 sales are strong in Australia. So no, when gaming websites talk about PS3 global sales, they mean worldwide.

I personally dont care about BC in a new system since I dont plan on getting rid of my PS3 after PS4 launches anyway. And besides, when I buy a new system, its to play new games. But of course, thats just my personal opinion.

I just laugh at how someone is comparing an existing console to a console that hasn't even been officially confirmed or revealed. And then based on that incomplete information, is determining that one system is more preferable over the other.
