I'm confused. For a while now, I've heard many people say information from VGChartz wasnt accurate and couldn't be trusted. Are we back to trusting VGChartz now?

Criminals go to jail for serious offenses. This guy got fired for making an idiotic statement. Where in your logic are the two comparable? That's a very interesting theory about the gaming 4th wall. I actually didn't consider that until you just mentioned it and I have to admit, it kind of makes sense. I'm glad you enjoyed the part of the review that dealt with the Playstation Move. It's a shame the peripheral isn't taken more serious by more gamers since I feel the Move works great with shooters and sports games. I agree this is an exciting time to be a playstation fan with all of the big news surrounding the PS3, PS4 and Vita lately. And I also agree the PS4 has a lot of hype and momentum right now going into the next generation of consoles. But to say Sony is "dominating" is way too strong a word. Tone it down a bit. Without a doubt Sony is in a great position right now, but lets not get too excited and oversell their success. Either way I'm very excited about the PS4 coming out later ...

You raise some great points. Basically, it comes down to games. Sony is putting on a good show because they have to make sure they don't repeat the mistakes they made with the PS3. Nintendo may be quiet right now but I still have faith they can come back and be strong this year. And Microsoft isn't giving up yet either. All 3 of these companies have a loyal fan base and experience in the gaming market. It's still way too soon to be crowning any winners or counting anyone out.

The surprising amount of support from 3rd party developers these last couple of weeks for the PS4 is impressive. Sony continues to add a lot of confirmed titles to the growing list of PS4 games which only continues to make the PS4 look more and more appealing to gamers. Plus with so many big gaming conferences coming up like E3, gamescon and TGS...Sony has a big opportunity to set up a successful launch for the PS4 this holiday season.

you raise a very good question. Many people feel the way you do that the only reason Xbox maintained a small sales lead was because of the 1 year head start. Most would agree the PS3 had a weaker start and a stronger finish while the Xbox had a stronger start and a weaker finish. Either way it adds up to an overall great generation for both companies (and Nintendo as well). I for one just look forward to another great upcoming generation.
