Yea, it's a no brainer... for gamers anyway.
I hadn't played GOW 1&2 until just a few weeks ago. Boy was I missing out. EPIC is an understatement. Ohh the Violence, the Gore, the "Twins" ohh my!
Gore, Sex, and Orchestra!
That's GOW for ya.
And I bet Bayonetta made you feel all... OooOooo and special when you saw it. Like your a dirty little boy and she's gonna teach you the lesson of your life.
Well Sarah Palin made me feel the same way... I still didn't vote for her.
You say MS won E3, but did it really. They showed several PS360 games and 3 exclusives. Some commercials for tech that is at least 2-20 years away, Natal being 2 and Milo being 20. So after the hoopla is over, 360 Gamers have severl PS360 games and 3 exclsives to look forward to. So did they win and still lose... think about it.
You say Sony loss, they didn't but to keep the fanboism down we'll let you run with that bone. Sony Gamers won even more.
We'll be playing ...
Yes, Peter Molyneux is a Sith Lord. Notice how he talks with his hands in the subtle and calming tone.
"this is not the droid your looking for... he is a real little boy."
Yes, watch the demo again. Notice how he tries to comfort you with his voice to accept Milo as something he is not. Notice how he paints fantastic pictures in your mind of how great the future with him could be. Notice how he confuses your senses.... the ones telling you Milo is just a sc...
lower the price of the HDD
Prove Natal works on more than "Casual games"
Sell Natal at a price that People will buy
Kill Milo ( or just wait 200 hours so he can die of natural causes)
Actually make a game instead of marketing a multiplatform one.
Edit:
Mooks, my cousin works for UPS... you know the guy that carries your precious precious across the river stixx. Yea well he is still picking up and dropping em off every day. In the past 3 ye...
Actually half of MS's show was games you can play on the PS3... which is fine by me. The only thing that I TRULY liked about MS's show is that they didn't go into charts. This new trend is something I think all gamers will have to give MS props for when it comes to E3 in the coming years.
From the research I've done, Sony was wanting to wait until next year when they would have had some games to show with the PSLightstick. However, with MS hearing rumors that Sony was going to show their system this year, they put together one of the greatest Hoaxes this gen will ever see. This practically forced Sony into throwing together the demo that was shown.
Now that the cards are on the table, lets wait and see how each one plays their hand. Hopefully, Hardcore and casual ...
Nah, Sony do the hardware and the software. MS can do the marketing as that is their main strength. Software by MS = blue screen of death or Vistastic Annoyance ware. Let them just handle the marketing as they seem to be able to pull invisible white rabbits out of a hat and still be able to get people to pay them just to see it.
Even in the ball game there is a lot of lag, it's just that over time players start to compensate for it. But if you watch when you can see both the player and the tv, there is 1sec of lag. And as any decent gammer knows, in a competitive game... LAG = DEATH.
Also, did you notice the PC that the Xbox was connected to. It's starting to look like Natal will become a major attachment to the 360, kinda like the SAGA CD for the Genisis system. Yea, this won't add much more cost to the...
PS3 gamers will be playing great exclusive and multiplatform games this year.
360 gamers will be playing great multiplatform games this year.
PS3 fanbois will be playing great exclusive and multiplatform games this year.
360 fanbois will be waiting to play with Milo for over a year.
To each his own, and to all.... YOU WILL BE OWNED!!!!
Natal will work, but without the accuracy and ability to track small movements all without lag, this product is definitely not for the hardcore market at this time.
Also, from what I'm gathering of various reports, it seems like Natal will be a full blown attachment for the 360. Not just a cam but a major piece of equipment, I could be wrong but that's the subtle impression I'm picking up. When reports tell of the "closed doors" setup, seems Natal is farther from the sh...
Hmmmm...
Not only do you get to save money on an international trip, you also get to demo some of the best camera tech Sony has to offer. That's Hot!
Glad it's finaly coming to NA... ohh no... another game on my list for this fall. :( ... :)
" 1.1 -
You can't stop the Molynator. "
You say Molynator
I say Molyster
but still the same.
It's funny the way he makes it sound like no one else has been working on this. Game studios have been getting better and better every gen, but the tech is still a long way off... even for computer games.
MIT and several other universaties and institutes (Sony included) have been working on making a single AI that can fully engage a pe...
Yep, you hit the nail on the head. But you have to remember that most of the posters here are still working on their High School Diploma. So they have a limited understanding of modern tech and how it works.
Sadly, this site doesn't IP limit the number of accounts. Plus E3 tends to be right when summer vacation begins so the prepubs have nothing better to do than go online and try to "teabag" using posts.
And the winner of the motion control wars goes to....

MS for pulling an invisible white rabbit out of it's hat.
It's just amazing how much buzz you can get from magic marketing tricks these days.
Day 1... Preorder baby!
After playing CoD4's arcady shooter, I got SOCOM:C which is more slow paced yet very tactical, then KZ2 which it in a sweet spot just between the two.
From the E3 videos, looks like MAG will sit in a nice place just between SOCOM:C and KZ2. It will have the speed of KZ, but be just a little bit more tactical. Which is good so that a battle will require strategy, but not take hours to complete.
I also like how they integrated tacti...
This gen seems to be the Motion Gen of consoles. This will all come down to who has the best motion system with games and applications. While Natal shows how motion can be applied to apps other than gaming, it's greatest weakness is gaming. While Sony's PSLightstick as the potential to excel in all fields, but with the advantage of direct 1:1 application in current gaming control schemes.
I personally think that all system will benefit from what was shown at E3, so Gamers everywh...
Compared to FF13 and FFvs13, this is a true FF game. Where old tech meets new meets magic meets monsters meets the end of ma blade. Ohh yea.
Now that you mention it, seems 360Fanbois (not 360 gamers just the fanbois) have brains that last just short of Milo's. So they will never know that he's not a real little boy.
It's not the number of trophies, but how hard it is to get that platinum.
I've heard Horror stories of TWs renting games like Hanna Montana just to collect their precious precious. Those are the types of games that are easy to beat, and easy to max out. The less time needed to get that platinum, the better the game is from a TWs prospective.
Too bad I've got some resistance to Trophies... some.
