Between Incognito and Naughty Dog sharing code, First party devs are going to be bringing some major heat in the next couple of years. Can't wait to see what Zipper adds to the collection after MAG is released, not to mention if SCE Santa Monica shares their GOW3 code. That would be an epic symphony of code just smacking ppl all over the place.
the new logo has more of a 3d effect to it than the old one... nice.
I still haven't finished GTA4 as it is... only 33% when it sucked the fun out of gaming. As for some "expansions" nah, I'll pass. More of the same wont help at this point.
It's nice Rock* is trying to add some depth to the storyline, but to sacrifice gameplay to do so just = fail. GTA3/VC/& SA where good games due to pushing the gameplay boundries. Back then it was all about the gameplay and that is what sold the game. The story was just background material to add ...
To be honest, since HL, what great game has Valve produced. L4D? plz.
Anyway, is it just me or has the "PS3 is Doomed!!!" season started up again. Seems like it's another month and a half till some sanity returns to N4G... as in when da bots return to high/middle school.
Seen the videos on PSN and September can't come fast enough. Kinda reminds me of I-Ninja for the PS2 only more refined.
ROFLMAO!!!
Would love to see PS3 get a port of this for it's motion controls.
meh, but thanks for keeping us posted.
meh, but thanks for keeping us up to date.
Although it did bring up some interesting thoughts, such has how many places around the world are offering incentives to lure gaming companies into their communities. Also how big studios are likely to get bigger to support hit IPs, while the smaller studios will be the ones creating the new IPs. As well as the fact that B2C is the way of the future in gaming development, meaning dev studios will have to be more in touch directly with their customers instead of marketing 'gurus' if they want ...
I'm just going to work on my back catalog of games like Heavenly sword, Uncharted1, maybe a PSN title or two... Then again I've got too many games I need to beat right now.
I thought that was the drumbeat for the year... or have we moved on already.
well a bubble since we are all out of cookies... or common sense around here.
Edit:
Wow!
I lost 4 bubbles in one day... is that a record around here.
I would give you a bubble, but I only do so for those with 6 or less. But good point non the less.
Edit:
I lost 4 bubbles in one day... is that a record. Anyway, I rarely use more than two so Game On!
So many upcomming MMOs... so little money, so little time.
I just hope they go the micro transaction route with all these MMOs, otherwise I'll just keep playing my reg PS3 games. $60 for a game followed by monthly payments just does't add up in the "Bang for the Buck!" department.
Gonna have to check out that KZ2 level ASAP. :)
The only ones worried about Sony is MS. They have been since PS2 and are really scared now.
Think about it, the only real negative thing that can be said about the PS3 is the price. Once it hits $299 it's going to overtake the 360 and the wii. Sounds impossible, but when you really consider how many people have yet to get a HD console, you'll realize just how little of the gaming market the PS3/360 has right now. And I honestly wouldn't be surprised to see both the PS3 and Wii to...
I just wish Sega would make a single game worth playing, and I'm an old school Sega fan. =(
Imagine being able to go into Warhark and access one of the overhead video screens. From there you're able to spectate on any of the Home Launched games of Warhawk. Then you could just pop in the disc, and presto your in the game. Now that would be sweet.
It would also be cool if the screens showed streaming videos of gameplay and trailers all the time. That way non-Warhawk owners could get an idea of just how much fun they are missing out on.
Actually, with Sony being a Major music company, they already have experience with licensing music on a global scale. It's really just a matter of due process to make the service available in all regions at the same time.
As far as Itunes goes, everything seems impossible until it's done. Everquest used to be the top MMO, now it's WoW. As with all things, it's not a question of if someone will provide a service that dethrones itunes, but when.
Right now, Sony is in t...
