Natal will make a great splash but will quickly fizzle. This is not due to the tech, but due to the lack of First Party support. MS is counting on Third Party studios to produce enough content not only for the hardcore, but also for the newest tech around in the form of Natal. This is not a reasonable expectation as Third Party studios will have the option/responsibility of also working on Wii and PSMotion games. While the later two systems are based largely on relatively the same tech, Natal...
It only does...
EVERYTHING!!!
Just for reverse-trolling. While I know each letter was pressed with the utmost sarcasm, this should help take some of the pain away.
Thanks for the laugh and for living up to your avatars reputation of always showing up with another surprise.
All I can say is '76' was a vintage year.
They need bigger swords! lol
We've all seen YouTube vids of WoW characters dancing to popular music, making it seem as if WoW is way cooler than it is. Bioware is just trying to cash in on this effect. Unless all the music in the game is similar to the one in the trailer than it is obviously misleading and just a marketing ploy.
I'm still on the fence about DA:O, but hearing that the main game is roughly 6-8 hours doesn't really say $60 purchase to me. I'm going to wait and see on this one.
For years, people watching a movie have commented on what actions they would and wouldn't take if in the same situation. Now with this new genre of game-movies, they can enjoy watching the results of "not going down the dark creepy ally with just a flashlight." lol.
It will be interesting to see this genre evolve and eventually replace movies all together. They are kinda like a choose your own adventure book, only with cool graphics and can be a shared experience. Just ...
Seems a lot of Sony's ad controversy is due to artistic misunderstandings and messages taken/given out of context. Something like a good ad in the wrong place, kinda like the KZ2 ads at bus stops.
Good thing Sony is the only gaming company with controversial ads.
From the moment you step onto Shadow Moses Island, the game kicks into overdrive. Being back where it all began just gets you right in the chest.
The last two acts will keep you glued to your controller and wondering just what's gonna happen next. Then when you get that beast Rex in your hands, makes you wonder why you didn't just go through the whole game with this puppy. Then to top it all off, at the end you get to personally administer some payback on Ocelot's face, priceless...
I liked the first one better but the second one is not so bad. While it's humor is not slap stick obvious, it can make you laugh if you think about it. Considering some of the crazy conspiracy theories on the net, It's likely that there is someone out there that believes something like that really happened.
Still the first one is straight forward funny and will always hold a special place in my heart... and harddrive.
PS:
At least they didn't replace the spokes...
I've got my money on it being a multiplatform game(s) with "exclusive" DLC.
if you have poor or no internet connection there goes NetFlix streaming, which leaves you with DVD vs DVD + Blu-Ray.
Doesn't the main character look like a Trouser Snake in that poster. It's refreshing to see Sackboi's great great great grandpappi, but he could have at least closed the fly first.
Edit:
Just read the article and it's nice to see someone's dream become everyone's dream. Being able to Play, Create, Share.
ohh and that thing in the pic for this article is not Sackboi's great great great grandpappi as I had originally though. Don't know who or what that is, but it...
Using the built in web browser you can watch porn on a PS3. What home entertainment system is complete without access to Peta-bites of Porn. ;P
Doesn't go deep into comparing the pros and cons of each system, but just outlines where we are at with motion controls in general. Only time will tell if motion controls will be seen as a fad, like a lot of the NES accessories, or if motion controls will be fulling integrated into all future consoles... at least until mind control kicks in.
Look at what happened with GTA when the news got out about "Hot Coffee". Sales went through the roof. Fox news going on a tirade about this would only increase demand for it... especially among congressmen as they like to hide their sexual escapades.
So not gonna get this game. Between the lag, glitchers, and the kill streak disparity.
Campers tend to be the highest ranking at the end of a match, while I'm usually in the top three and been on the front lines the whole time. I go UAV jammer with Silencers and go hunt down my kills 1 by 1. Usually targeting the snipers and campers I find, not to mention their support personnel and claymores. But in the end, always some camper at top spot after calling in an air strike on the r...
Actually Sony is trying to touch base with both the hardcore and casual with their motion controls, hence the reason they have been in development for 10 years. They don't want to drop the ball on the hardcore gamers while reaching out to the casual gamers, thus the reason for the ad campaign "gaming is just the beginning."
Unlike some companies, Sony is not about to drop all of their hardcore Studios to focus on casual gaming, while hoping that third parties will provi...
I like this article as it will result in actual improvements in gaming for everyone. While a little 360 heavy in the content, it's a very informative and though provoking piece.
PS.
Sadly, some how some way this will eventually lead to something else for FBs to fight over.
Give me Left Analog Stick with some buttons and a mouse with some buttons and you get the best of both worlds. Precise aiming with free form movement. Then moving in all 360 directions is fluid and without having to stretch your finger1s 5 miles apart. Add that to the precision and sensitivity of a mouse and you've got the recipe for total pawnage... at least until everyone else does the same.
As for the "Arms Race" in the PC world, Yea it would suck to have that come t...
