It had Jet pack armor, vehicles, large terrains, internal/external buildings. Things that had never been combined together at it's time... and the Mods where crazy cool. Since playing Tribes over 10 years ago, most FPSs seem blah to me. Thus why I was never impressed by Halo as it's basically a slow motion quake for consoles.
Also, I do hope MAG comes out with some really Massive maps like the one shown in the Dust demo. Imagine just how much more fun and dynamic the battles woul...
lol... well saying FM3 is the definitive racing game this gen means that even if T10 release another racing game for 360 it has to suck compared to FM3. Your's and their words not mine.
Which I got the moment I read the title of this article. No need to read beyond that point as Natal is 12 months away, PSSphere is 6 months away, and Motion Plus is here but still not enough to get me to buy a Wii. At this point, Motion Plus is the winner as there is no competition on the market.
Now 4-6 years from now we will have 20/20 vision about this gens winner when it comes to motion controls, until then everyones just placing blind bets. BTW, mines on PSSphere. ;)

Actually 50% is refering to how many gamers knew someone who has had RROD, not the actual percentage of consoles that have suffered from RROD. It would be nice if MS released the actual numbers so that this debate would be squashed once and for all.
I was thinking that he had created his own game engine from scratch or something like that. But modeling is one of the easiest parts of game development, and making impressive renders is easy to do with the right lighting setup in a 3D program since they use raycasting. Depending on the scenes complexity, one pic can take secs-hours just to render, vs a game engine that must render the whole scene 30-120 times a sec.
Also, how clean are the meshes of his models, as in is there an...

And just as a few others have posted, since when does xbox360 support 3 monitors. Thought only PCs could do that... that must mean that the definitive version of the definitive racer of this console generation will be on the PC. WOW... how about that...
While MS showed developers talking about natal, Sony showed the PSWand in action with known games of different genres from hardcore to casual. Being around 6 months away from release, with actual games ready to go today, and a system very similar to Nintendo's, Sony is in a better position to make major headway with it's motion system. By the time Devs get a clear understanding of not only what Natal can do, and how best to map controls, this gen will be coming to a close.
