From curing cancer to curing a cancer patient's blues. What more could you ask for from a multimedia entertainment center.

Hmmm?
What part of "VIDEO" game did not compute?

Something like Rock Band I could understand as that is more of an audio game. Even without the visual cues, with just a focused ear and good rhythm one could learn to master even the hardest tracks in time. But come on, a video game is a video game as in visual. Now if he was suing due to Sony putting so much money into making video games and not ocular implants to help the blind to see, then I'd understand a little...

I am a MW2 Objector.
I am not going to buy, rent, or even pirate this game. I refuse to support the disdain for gamers that this company is promoting in the gaming industry. Thus I will take my business elsewhere to support development studios and publishers who are more dedicated to the enjoyment of making games, as well as making games that gamers want. Regardless, if you stand with me or I stand alone, I will continue to stand up for Gamers everywhere.
This is my vow.

Be sure to do a comparison of how the streaming compares to a real Blu-Ray as well as a DvD being upscaled. I want to know as I'm on the fence about getting Netflixs and this might help me take the leap.

He was referring to how some gamers call any game, such as KZ2 or LBP, that doesn't sell 2 million in the first week a flop. Unless of coarse it's on a the console of their choice in which case some other trivial thing makes that game an exception such as ODST.

Owch, I was looking forward to this game as a cheap thrill. You know, as a way to become a "National Geographic Photographer" without the need for mosquito/lion repellent. Ohh well, I might still grab this one when it hits the sub 20s usd.

Whats funny to me is that I've seen lots of the "we are ODST" commercials and not one frame of gameplay. Same thing happened with Halo Wars and MS got a pass. Sony shows gameplay, gameplay, gameplay in it's commercials, especially this new ad campaign. It's interesting how Sony's games look so good that they are compared to movies and CGI when it's the harder system to program for and has been on the market for a year less than the 360.

How did that happen... hmmmm? lol...

As for the controls, they are right where they need to be right now. Only thing missing is... uhhh.... uhhh... ohh yea, more vehicles. Give us jeeps, tanks, and mechs in large multiplayer maps, I'd say about Phyrus's size or 1.5 it's size at max. More mission types, more unlockables, and require that badges be unlocked to go up levels instead of an indiscriminate score. Nothing worse than being on a team with a Tac dropping two spawn points near your own base when the objective is clear acros...

Title of this article should have been "Forza 3: The Definitive Racing Comparison". Then this would be over 1000 degrees in two hours.

If the PS4 comes with 3 cells and one of either the ATI 5800s or Nvidia Fermi cards, we could have realtime raytracing @ 60fps in 1080p resolution. That would mean every game could look like a Hollywood blockbuster animated film, being just short of true realism. While the graphics will have leaped over the uncanny valley, I it will take major animation and physic improvements as well to fully reproduce real life images...
but we'd certainly be a lot closer to that goal. ;)

For the love of money, Activision is shooting itself in the foot... which could prove fatal due to them keeping their foot in their mouth. Hopefully the board of directors will wake up and toss Bobby Krotch into the streets.

That was one of the realist reviews of the PS3 that I've seen in a long time. Just presenting the Pros and the Cons as is with no wardrum beating.

Price of Live for various households:
1 gamer X 5 years = $250
2 gamer X 5 years = $500
3 gamer X 5 years = $750
4 gamer X 5 years = $1000

Price of PSN:
1 gamer X 5 years = Free
2 gamer X 5 years = Free
3 gamer X 5 years = Free
4 gamer X 5 years = Free

But wait, MS and Sony has stated that the 360/PS3 will have a minimum of a ten year cycle, so...

1 gamer X 10 years = $500
2 gamer X 10 years = $1000 ...

it's about time game studios expressed their creativity with their company photos. Can't wait to see more devs put their talents to good use for this purpose.

I just look at the whole format war with open eyes and can see both sides of the picture. MS had a lot to gain from HD-DVD as they where a major contributor and was in position to get a nice royalty for each disc sold. Instead they ended up on the short end and Sony holding all of the Discs... I mean cards.

Wikifu:
"In an attempt to avoid a costly format war, the Blu-ray Disc Association and DVD Forum started to negotiate a compromise in early 2005. One of the issues w...

Well for now we do, but soon... so soon we won't...except to make video games.... then again if LBP is an indicator of what is to come then?.. lol.

I just hope Sony can get a worldwide player up and running. It would be so cool to be able to watch shows from anywhere in the world... without needing a Satellite dish, PC, or running borderline illegal hardware and software.

XBox360 gets a point due to Twitter, Facebook, and Last.FM?
Last time I checked, two mins ago, the browser of the PS3 allowed me to access those sites as well as Myspace, Wikipedia, Papa Johns/Pizza Hut, and everyone's favorite... N4G.

As for portable gaming console inter-connectivity, They brush off the PSP & PS3 combo punch. Once again they say that both consoles are about even due to Shane Kim mentioning that MS "MAY" one day make a portable console.

Sounds like MS is flexing it's political influence to strike back at the Blu-Ray group after HD-DVD lost the format war. Sad thing is, HD-DVD might of won the war had MS fully supported it by having HD-DVD in each XBox360. Sony and company only won due to the number of BDD on the market thanks to PS3 sales. Yet at the time there was more 360s on the streets, which had they all included a HD-DVD the format market would likely have ended in MS's favor.
