Wish I had 2 more 37in HDtvs...
... then that would be the bomb baby!!!
Heavy Rain is dealing with many Heavy issues such as poverty, loss of a loved one, social corruption much like Shenmue did. The biggest difference I can see is that Shenmue was a little bit more of an action game while Heavy Rain is more about drama.
I think that the only problem with Heavy Rain is that it is almost too good at drawing an emotional response from people. The game has a very dark and depressed mood and it is so powerful that just watching the trailers kinda hits yo...
what appeals to me is the fact that it's not cartoony. It's got a clean modern look to it that stops just short of the peak over looking the Uncanny Valley. The only real problem is that it looks so good that when new gamers see Home Girlz they get all giggidy and loose their minds and try to hump their legs. Then they get mad that the love of their virtual life doesn't like them so they get mad at HOME and says that it sucks. lol.
To be honest, when I log into Home, especially m...

Couldn't help myself. Seems like everyone is making a list these days and I didn't want to feel left out.
I remember Missile Defense and Maze Hunter 3D for the Sega Master system back in the mid 80s. Some of the best gaming ever!!!
It used the same shutter glasses but only at 30fps so it wasn't perfect, but there was no other gaming experience that came close to it. I've been waiting for 3D to come back to gaming for a long time... and this year my dreams will become reality... Thanks to Sony.

So this one takes the old school red and green glasses... just shows that 3D gaming is here.
Although I must admit I was expecting to see something about Sony/Zipper's Massive Action Game. But still an interesting event non the less, and it'd be great to see more MAGfest event around the country.
"It's apparent, then, the significance of these new technologies – both motion-control and 3D – but will it be realized this generation with the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3? Undoubtedly no."
He must not have heard at CES that Sony's PS3 will get 3D this summer via firmware and PSSphere is set to be released in just a few months. As for MS, they are only focused on motion controls with Natal. So as far as both motion controls and 3D showing up on that system... well he mi...
I think he was trying to test out the damage system. Can't blame him for trying but he really should have picked up more speed first.
After some quick research I found a site that describes the latest 3Dtv systems coming out this year.

Seems Vizio is also going with shutter based tech, so it should be compatable... should. I'll wait till later in the year to get some confirmation, but this is promising. Although I must admit, due to the prices of Vizio's 3Dt...

I'm just hoping that Vizio gets a license to make 3Dtvs so I can get one on the cheap. =D
With the chip inside the cam, and PSSphere relying on the Cell, Natal was set to level the playing field between the power of the PS3 and the Xbox360. Now both systems will have to choose either max graphics, full motion integration, or current graphic levels with some motion controls added... and we all know who wins in the graphics department at this time.
What could have been a Tiger Uppercut has turned into a feathery jab... from Glassjaw.
I know how you feel, I used to think I was the best driver ... almost ever!!!
After seeing that I'm 10secs behind and somewhere around 90,000th.. =( ... reality set in that I really need to step my game up.
So good luck to us both and may the best driver win... as long as that's me. =P
I had the Sega Master system which came with 3D shutter glasses similar to the tech Sony is using. That was some of the best gaming ever!!! Maze Hunter, Missile Defence... ahhhh those where the good ol days.
Youngstaz now days don't know what they're about to be treated to. HD gaming with motion controlers and 3D!... and 3D!!! Can't wait to see what Sony has planed for E3 now... and it's only 7 days into the year. =)
True, but could you image every surface of your house being able to display video and be used as an interface. I'm thinking mostly of Stark's house in Ironman.
Can't wait to see it displaying a 3D image... now that would be trippy. =)
Instead of sitting there congradulating him, you should be doing your homework....
... playing GT5P so you can be the next gamer to racer success story. =P
Heck, now that I think about it... I gotta go and find a few race lines.
lol!
Hopefully they have various catagories such as FPS gamer of the month, RPG gamer of the month, etc, etc...
Being able to play a MMO that looks that good is worth a PSN Premium account.
I'm an ATI fan myself, but I'm thinking of using Fermi for my next major build... unless ATI releases a card that can speed up my regular apps like Fermi can.
Come on ATI, don't force me to cross that picket line.
