Major Nelson was trying to lure KB into a photo opt that would have promoted MS and hurt Sony... which would have lead to KB getting fired and thus the end of KB's ad campaign. It was a nice ploy by MS to do something to overshadow how weak an E3 they had.

By giving XGC away for free, Sony is in effect negating one of the primary points of value of XBL. To charge for XGC would basically stating that MS has been giving patrons a good deal all this time.

I can still game online, video chat, and hang out in Home all for free.
Still wish they included all PS3 MMO's such as DCUO, Blade and Soul, and FF14 in that price.. now that would have been sweet. Instead we will likely have to pay separately for each one.

In the first Infamous his hair and voice got fried in the accident... now that he's "recovered" we get to meet the real Cole.

As far as his Ice Powers go... I think he can "borrow Powers from other freaks" since SP stated that he is still a "lighting hero at the end of the day."
Spoiler Alert... the Be...
... he had lots and lots of firepower for those not so nice levels of the game.
With the right firmware update, Sony could include voice recognition and gesture navigation with little impact to system resources... although ram usage would go up which might be one of the reasons they haven't included it yet. Either that or they are waiting till more PS3 owners have PSEye/PSmoves to make investing the time and resources easily justifiable.
A lot of gamers don't realize it yet, but PSMove will be the must have hardcore controller by the end of 2011. Once DS3 gamers start getting owned left and right they will only have two choices left.
Get a Move on, or stay Shocked and Awed.

That's why so many games where revealed within the past two weeks alone.
What happened is that the sphere on the PSMove left the camera view. When this happens, the system only has the info from inside the PSMove and thus becomes more like a Motion+ Wiimote. This is one of the reasons why the camera makes all the difference, and why most hardcore gamers hate on the Wii.
Now we just have to wait a few more months and then we can get Moving and Playing Beyond.
but I've also heard that the new thing all the hipsters will be doing these days is playing controller free. Yep, who wants to play a driving game where you actually have to touch a steering wheel and petals... and sit down for that matter.

I found it funny that while watching the conference I got to thinking that Halo is set in a rich universe yet it has no space combat... then just a few seconds later into the vid they went there.
Gen5 there was plenty of space shooters, Gen6 a few, but this gen they have been MIA. I'm a space junky and I've been looking to comp gaming and PS1/PS2 games to get my fix. Hopefully more devs will be inspired by H:R's space combat and they will fill my life with Zero-G ...
+1 for that one... lol.
We all know that many kinect games will require you to jump... and sadly the 360S are still prone to disc scratching. So I'm sure that there will be a new wave of Frisbee champions come this fall.
