It's better to have 12 hours of unending epic gameplay than to be tortured for 20-40 hours just to get to the good part of a game. Thus Time < Fun.
Of course every game should give you at around 10+ hours of gameplay to help justify the insane prices of games this gen.

That will be made be an indie studio as a homage to Squaresoft's long lost epicness.
His point was that many 360 gamers where saying that MS would wow us with hardcore Kinect titles. That MS was holding back a lot of info about it's plans for the next year that would leave no doubt that MS was getting back in touch with it's Hardcore roots.

After Burner, Air Diver, Top Gun, Ace Combat, Wing Commander, Colony Wars, & Decent: Free Space are some of my most favorite games of all time... just wish we could get some space shooter love for Gen7.
Hopefully more devs will see what Bungie is doing with the space combat in Reach, and will get their acts together.

For some reason, the 360s looks like a futuristic blender or the "Mr Fusion" from the back to the future series... so my vote is for the Phatties.
back in the "cartridge" days, game prices got up to $60-$80 each, and suddenly the gaming industry started to stall. Then Sony introduced the $30/$40/$50 tier system and like a nuke, console gaming exploded again. Then this gen, we get hit with every game being $60 regardless of it's true value and gamers rush to the bargin bins... while the professional anal-lists are confused as to why gaming is in a slump.

I saw the hulu ones and thought that it was all about just a new facebook wanna be site.
They do it all... I"m usually not hyped about the latest phones, but this thing is a beast. My cousin has one and some of the things he's shown me is lovely.
I just hope they don't kill it with a $15 a month sub. $50-$60 a year would be a nice sweet spot since it would be like buying a game once a year.

Sega killed the Saturn before it even hit the ground. They did this be releasing the Genisis, which was great, then they added the Sega-CD and the 32X back to back just 1 year before the Saturn.
At that point, Sega earned the reputation of being a company that would likely release a new console within 1-2 years so gamers began a wait and see. Sure enough, just when gamers where starting to think it would be safe to invest in a Sega Saturn, they released the Dreamcast thus red...
