weak photoshop work.
I'd like to see the Cosplay girl of the week from this game.
The funny part is that even with shortages, the PS3 is still outselling the xbox360 worldwide. That means that there is some demand for the console that only does everything.
I know that, but it's more funny to think that video games are a military requirement... well it will be soon with all the drones being built.
but with this tech and the PSMove it can fully be just that.
The point I was making was that Natal claimed that placing the player into the game was not possible on any other system. Yet here it is on the PS3 before we have yet to see it done on Natal... other than the faked marketing vid.
Pure Awsome!!!
lol... VP of washing my car.
But that does prove that Natal is not as revolutionary as it's made out to be.
Also, add in the PSMove and you get 110% more... thanks to this thing we call buttons. LOL.. but for real, the PSMove takes mocap beyond what even Natal can do. Sony has shown a fighting game that is in 3D and forward facing. Although it's currently gesture based, it can just as easily be made to be 1:1 with gestures for the special moves. All without sacrificing 30% of the hardware capabil...
I actually like the store being separate and hate all of the hotlinks they added.
I go into the store once or twice a week to see what's new, I don't need the store invading my gaming/entertainment environment, and heaven forbid they start dumping ads all over the place. When I want to go shopping, I'll go to the store, much like in real life. I know all of the new stuff is loaded up on Tuesdays so I usually check late Tuesday or first thing Wed.

guess the PSEye does do what the Eyetoy did... only better.
Edit:
I remember this game being shown around GDC2010 and it was showing that this game was possible on both the PS3 and 360, so why is it now a PS3 exclusive... hmmmm. Guess MS can't buy all of the mocap tech on the market.
Can't wait to see how Sony incorporates this tech into other PSMove games.
They want the game to be as much of a combat sim as possible and still be fun. They hate cheap arcade shooter tricks and tactics. They want to experience the fear of combat, the teamwork needed to obtain an objective, and the rush of earning each kill.
Thus is the mind of a Soccomer.
Edit:
+1 to Greywolf
in that "don't even try it" kind of way.
Also, at least they didn't give her "Team Ninja boobs" and remove half of her clothing. To me they kept her pretty realistic. She's not super muscle bound buff or overly well endowed as she would be in most video games. She looks strong enough to handle herself in combat, she can hang with the boys, yet at the end of the day she is still a lady. (I know I'm pulling a lot out of just one pic, but a pi...
And this shows that Sony's motion control system can do pretty much 90% of what Natal can do... even without the PSMove.
Now if they make it online multiplayer, that would be an...
ULTRA ULTRA UUUUUUUUUUULTIMATE COOOOOMBOOOOOO!
The music in the game is not art
The story/script which is just like those in movies and plays is not art
The concept drawings are not art
The 3d models, which if made in clay would be art, are not art
Each of these elements alone would be considered art, but combined they are not? What sense does that make. It takes more artistic talent to make a game than it does to make nearly any other form of art... yet games are not art?
Lets jus...
I've used one for the Emulators on my PC and it's great.
Now that I think about it, I need to try to see if it will work with my PS3. ;)
MS is going to charge $100-$150 for Natal. They are leaking these rumors to make the real price seem like a steal.
So true.
Also, this guy should have waited one month to compile this round. With E3 just weeks away, much about the future of both consoles will be announced very shortly. Especially since 50% of what MS claimed Natal will be able to do last E3, we now know technically that it's not possible.
As for software, 1st party beats 3rd anyday. Sony wins that battle hands down. Not to mention that supporting the PSMove is just a simple step from the Wii, which mo...
It has two extra buttons on top that would be perfect for fighting games and it would allow developers more options for player control.
This is what the DS4 should be like.
... degrees.
That's how hot this article will get.
True and sometimes it is hard to tell.
:)
The prices of the games was one of the strongest selling points of the PS2.
We are already starting to see a second price tier emerge as more and more games are coming out at a $40 price tag. Now all we need is the $50 tier, or better yet the $50 and the $30 price tiers and then we will start to see software attach rates increase exponentially.
Also, the second hand market wouldn't be so strong if gamers had an incentive to keep a game longer than a week ...
