Correction...
you have to buy 1 PlayStation this gen.
Some gamers have become used to going through 2 consoles/year this gen.
... I completely expected MS to lock this game down for Kinect when It was first shown. This would have been the game to give hardcore gamers bragging rights. They in turn would have supported Kinect more and when their family and friends saw the HC 360 gamers having fun in this game, they would have jumped in and kinected.
Here we are almost a year later and it's PS3 only at this time, and this will likely be a megaton for the PS3's motion system.
the Pet Rock was a hot selling item at one time as well.
People will by anything with enough hype. =(

Too be honest, I think Kung Fu Live (not to be confused with Kung Fu Rider) will be the killer app this fall for move. It does the one thing that sold a lot of people on Kinect.. it puts the player into the game.
Is when these things have as many or more bubs as the majority of N4G regulars.

Sony is heading down the right path that over the next 5 years could very well lead to the best years Sony has ever had. In respects to technology, financial growth, and public recognition. With all of the great products they are coming out with, they are proving that they are an electronics giant on a mission.
Now if only they would get it together and bring out the PSP2 with 3G and a second analog.... what a wonderful world it would be.
This gen I've only played demos of a few JRPGs and 10hours of FF13. To be perfectly honest I think the problem is the dev companies are trying too hard to appeal to "western" gamers, even though many "western" gamers enjoy JRPGs for being JRPGS.
Lately it seems the leveling systems are becoming a mini-game with more and more penalties instead of rewards for player based decisions, getting great gear has become an WoW epic crafting quest, and learning h...
