With all of the 3D movies that's been coming out over the past couple of years, it was only a matter of time before games went 3D as well. Not to mention that some games where shown in 3D before Avatar even hit theaters.
Actually, PSMove uses the same tech license as the Wiimote. Most dev studios have wii experience and thus why it's so easy for them to work with PSMove. The PSMove just takes it all one step further using the glowing sphere and the PSEye. I got my 5850 for less than $150... but that was back in Nov. You still should be able to get one near that price.

Doesn't matter about the demo. I was planing one waiting till it hit $15 or less before I picked it up anyway... likely from a rental store clearance sale. Now if the demo was good I'd be willing to pay $15-$25 (second hand of coarse), but now I guess I'll stick with Plan A.
Which of the following plans is the best value for online gaming.
A. $35 x 5 yrs = $175 = $350 for 10 yrs
B. $50 x 5 yrs = $250 = $500 for 10yrs
C. $0 x 5 yrs = $0 = $0 for 10yrs
Due note that this is for 1 account. Many households have 2-4 accounts.
$350-$700 for 2 accounts to be able to play online is not chump change... well actually ... lol. ;P

MS has closed or released more studios this gen then what they currently own. If MS had used their money to support their own studios instead of paying for multiplatform games (which ends up subsidizing PS3 games), then they would actually have a good game lineup year after year beyond just Haloz.
The Gaming Industry is doing the same thing the music industry did 10 years ago.
The music industry was thriving when Napster was at it's peak. Everyone was sharing music and then they would actually go out and buy it. This was due to Napster being a good way to find new bands/artists without having to drop $10-$20 bucks on a CD you might not like except that one song on the radio.
Then the music industry hammered Napster and file sharing and now hardly a...
and that was just a few years ago... ok 20+ but still.
My point is, if everyone waited till technology was mainstream, then we would be throwing rocks and running from fire. Cause the only way anything becomes mainstream (other than fads) is 1 unit at a time. Imagine if everyone waited till high speed internet was mainstream... we all would still be using dail-up. Owch.
And to be honest, although many of us have upgraded to HDTVs, many people are still rockin...

was one of the few RPGs that could have competed toe to toe with the FF series... if Sony would just start making sequels that is.
Come on Sony, you have a lot of PS1 and PS2 IPs just begging for some HD remakes or sequels. Now Make.Believe in them and Make it happen.
