It's not as if Sony stopped making hardcore games to focus on the Move, they are just expanding what they started with the Eyetoy. Plus they are making hardcore games that use the move. So they are in fact very much so the hardcore console they have been.
Now to totally sell out would be to abandon the hardcore market to cash in on the casual craze that's all the rage these days. That is the definition of selling out.
So all three companies have "sold out" but only one gets an article... sweet.

BGO is the game I've been playing the most lately and it's a blast... well lots of em really. However, there are a few things those interested in joining the community need to know.
1. Cylons are outnumbered 2:1 so if your interested in having the most PvP, then join Cylons.
2. There is also lots of roid farming if you like...

Plus with MS having just launched the 360Slim as well as Kinect, I'm sure they would like widen their base before the next gen. Besides, who is this one person to define a new definition for video games that is basically saying the same thing just using different terminology. Is he somehow more qualified than Ebert or the rest of the world... not saying Ebert is all that righteous in his first assessmen...
NO need to read the article.
Since that original statement, Ebert has retracted it. That was reported here on N4G numerous times months ago. So the only reason to bring it back up would be for hits. Thus why I stated what I did and I stand by it.
I'm getting the PC version as I know the mod community will be jumpin on this ASAP.
First will come the Texture packs followed by the gameplay tweaks to make the game even more enjoyable.
I am really starting to hate this Lowest Common Denominator Mentality devs have been adapting lately. Never before have they pushed so hard to have the PC version dumbed down (visually or gameplay wise) to match console versions before. Used to be the PC version was used...

It's funny that it takes more artists to make a video game than it takes to make a movie about the same subject... yet one is undeniably art and the other isn't.
Both have scripts, both have characters, both have a setting, and both can be emotionally and intellectually stimulating. So why is this topic even an issue.

People complain about the dog fights, but then turn around and watch movies or play video games where people kill, maim, and metally/physically harm each other all day long.
How many people despise Vic, but then go and enjoy a good rodeo. How about dog/horse/ostrich racing. How about hunting or fishing... think of the suffering of the fish.

Until Win7 came out, Vista was the top of the line OS. And as everyone knows, it was also one of the buggiest, non hardware compatible, unstable pieces of dren this side of the Hynerian Empire. Thus, why few games where released that attempted to push the limits during Vista's reign.
Now that Win7 is out and DX11 is standard, the only thing holding back PC gaming is devs.
Why not... If your playing Madden with a friend, wouldn't it be nice if they where completely clueless as to what the next play was going to be until you lined up.
Actually, the Wii2 will still be apart of this gen.

not to mention we live in the digital age where a simple barcode scan can transmit info anywhere in the world.
Think about it, how can you buy a PSN or Live points card, have it scaned, and by the time you get home you can use it on your console. What, did Sony and MS have someone at each store watch you as you purchased the card... well in a way they did thanks to this thing we in the future call computers and the net.
So how hard is it to have barcode relat...
Um, MGS4 looked better and that was released in 2008.
Better examples would be Mass Effect, Uncharted, or Gran Tourismo.
