Switch already has features paywalled, which was save file backups. In the past we used to be able to save our games locally and back them up to protect them, Switch stopped that, and now they charge a yearly fee to do so. They have no shame, and because of that, I have no problems pirating Switch games.

Wii Sports wasn't free, you paid for it. The Wii was cheap hardware back in 2006, certainly not worthy of that $250 price tag back then, even with Wii Sports included.

Wii Sports was never free, it was included within that $250 price. We all paid for it (except for Japan where it was sold separately).

He had nothing to do with PS5 Pro, he stopped being in charge 5 or more years ago.

Mario Kart World and most if not all Nintendo first party games will be fully on the cartridge. The "card-key" will be rarely used by Nintendo, its made for cheap-ass third party publishers, such as EA, Microsoft, Konami, etc. Or small indie publishers, who can't afford to take a risk on expensive carts production.

Price drops, just like 3DS had early in its life. The prices are so high for both hardware and software that they could easily reduce it and still profit off us.

I'm a proud Switch pirate, only buying a few games which had a physical extra item involved. I refused to support them much after they stopped allowing for local save file backing up, and had the audacity to charge a recurring fee in order to back up save files.

I'll be buying Switch 2 and keeping it on launch day firmware.

You screw me, I screw you back, Nintendo.

COVID-19 helped Nintendo a lot, it was perfecting timing releasing Animal Crossing in 2020 as well. Sony and MS had manufacturing issues back then and couldn't keep up with demand, which helped Nintendo even more (even though they couldn't keep up with demand as well).

Switch 2 may not sell as well as Switch 1, but with exclusive Mario Kart, Mario platformer, and Zelda games, it's going to sell quite well.

Not really worth debating over. Its just a free news / media app. If you care about Nintendo properties, then yes download it. If not, then avoid it and move on with your life.

Because they already released their "Pro console" back in 2020. They have developers working on two different hardware profiles as it is, if they made another one so soon, devs would have to code for 3 different hardware profiles. What a pain, and for the smallest player base as well.

Its been said many times already, MS should have only released the Series X in 2020, then a Pro upgrade last year. That would have made more sense than the Series S gimping the entir...

I fully disagree, the modern stuff were the story elements I was most interested in, as it started to die off, so too was my desire to play the games. After Layla was treated like an afterthought in Origins and Odyssey, I eventually dropped the franchise entirely. With this article, regaining any potential interest for me is killed off.

Ubisoft somehow made AC even more cookie-cutter generic than ever before, removing the only one unique thing the series had that made it sl...

It was a neat idea, but the game is packed with a lot of repetitive filler grindy stuff, clearly designed to make the game last longer. The sequel went overboard, with the filler as well, in order to nudge players towards micro-trash-actions, which were eventually dropped.

FF7 Rebirth is a two disc set. They could have done it with Indie as well.

2013: Don Mattrick shot the Xbox brand in the head.

2014: Phil Spencer dug the grave and buried it.

Things didn't have to play out this way, they could have remained some form of competition, but corporate greed, hubris, and ignorance took over and ruined the brand. What a shame, because I want Sony to have strong competition, which in turn makes Sony stronger as well.

Yeah, these days I'm looking for quality over quantity. I want shorter, more impactful games instead of longer endlessly repetitive games that try to nudge us towards their micro-trash-actions store.

If this game is anything like Origins or Odyssey, then its a well earned review score. Those games were boring slogs, and I gave up the series for good after Odyssey.

Insulting DualShockers for writing their honest review shows how childish you are, when you can't accept other people's opinions.

Very few are actually masterpieces. Most of them could be described as "bloated jank".

Well the ban was lifted, which means they found no wrong doing on his part. If he truly did something wrong, wouldn't the ban have stayed?

If you could feel shame for your ignorance, now is the time to feel it.

I read his post, and he claims that isn't the case. Someone entered his game room and used a hack to unlock Achievements for everyone in the room against their will.

He was intentionally screwed over by a hacker that wanted to see people get banned.

Its been game over since 2013, people just refused to accept reality back then, and some still to this day.
