It was a neat idea, but the game is packed with a lot of repetitive filler grindy stuff, clearly designed to make the game last longer. The sequel went overboard, with the filler as well, in order to nudge players towards micro-trash-actions, which were eventually dropped.
FF7 Rebirth is a two disc set. They could have done it with Indie as well.
2013: Don Mattrick shot the Xbox brand in the head.
2014: Phil Spencer dug the grave and buried it.
Things didn't have to play out this way, they could have remained some form of competition, but corporate greed, hubris, and ignorance took over and ruined the brand. What a shame, because I want Sony to have strong competition, which in turn makes Sony stronger as well.
Yeah, these days I'm looking for quality over quantity. I want shorter, more impactful games instead of longer endlessly repetitive games that try to nudge us towards their micro-trash-actions store.
If this game is anything like Origins or Odyssey, then its a well earned review score. Those games were boring slogs, and I gave up the series for good after Odyssey.
Insulting DualShockers for writing their honest review shows how childish you are, when you can't accept other people's opinions.
Very few are actually masterpieces. Most of them could be described as "bloated jank".
Well the ban was lifted, which means they found no wrong doing on his part. If he truly did something wrong, wouldn't the ban have stayed?
If you could feel shame for your ignorance, now is the time to feel it.
I read his post, and he claims that isn't the case. Someone entered his game room and used a hack to unlock Achievements for everyone in the room against their will.
He was intentionally screwed over by a hacker that wanted to see people get banned.
Its been game over since 2013, people just refused to accept reality back then, and some still to this day.
Xbox Series is 4 and a half years old, and they've barely supported it. Even within the next 2 years they wouldn't have given it enough first party game support.
Expecting people to support you after getting burned is a surefire way of losing even more consumer trust. Microsoft doesn't need new hardware, they need some high quality games, and tons of them prior to launching a new console.
Phil and Co. just don't get it.
Wow, how could someone be so wrong. 🤣
Even as a Death Stranding fan, I'm highly bothered by the lack of a disc. What the hell is this nonsense? Why would a veteran developer like Kojima agree to this? All pre-order bonuses are worthless digital junk just like with the first game.
Not the only one. In Final Fantasy XI, I made a female human character, but I also made sure to tell everyone I was a man.
Should have been an Edge controller so you can swap out the analog sticks once they drift, allowing you to use the controller for many more years.
Happy that he did, since many Japan Studio employees moved there and it shows with the quality of their games. Good man, Shuhei.
If it doesn't have PVP, then those awfully grindy Seriously 1.0, 2.0, 3.0 Achievements / Trophies have to be changed.
I'm not big on multi-player usually, but I did enjoy Gears 3 PVP (even though I wasn't good at it).
It needs updates for Blu-ray keys in order to watch newer movies. But also likely security updates as well.
Nice, I found it on 1337x! I actually liked many parts of this game, but some parts are also shitty. Its uneven, but overall a decent game.
Seems odd to be asking for it now that he left Platinum Games. He'll be busy with Okami 2 for a number of years, does he expect to develop the game at Clovers studio now? Would they be picking up where they left off, or starting over again? Any of the previous team members, or just him?
I doubt Phil would fund it again, but if so, then that would be good news, also fund a new Banjo as well as Conker games while you're at it. I miss Conker!
I fully disagree, the modern stuff were the story elements I was most interested in, as it started to die off, so too was my desire to play the games. After Layla was treated like an afterthought in Origins and Odyssey, I eventually dropped the franchise entirely. With this article, regaining any potential interest for me is killed off.
Ubisoft somehow made AC even more cookie-cutter generic than ever before, removing the only one unique thing the series had that made it sl...
