I really enjoyed Dead Island, but looking at that video makes me remember how the game could have been so much more, more story driven than what it ended up being.
Does this character make fun of the ghetto kind of language? Of course.
But then again, the people choose to speak like that.

Even though I really enjoyed Infamous 1, I played it again after Infamous 2 to get a missing trophy. I couldn't do it, 15 minutes in I gave up because they enhanced so much things in the 2nd one, the 1st one was really crappy to play.
Great games age well and that's really not the case with Infamous 1.
Just the fact that some people call the Wii U next gen tells that Nintendo has some kind of immunity.
As long as the consumers have their yearly Mario, Metroid and Zelda, they're content. Not that hard to please.

I agree, the U benefited from the black Friday and Christmas, parents wondered what to give to their kids and went for the easy win, but the U is really an underachieved console and as soon as the 720 and PS4 will be announced it will become obsolete unless you like the plumber/Zelda/Metroid...

Even though this generation's battle is lost, they can still gain ground and you have to establish your fanbase for the next generation.
The next generation will be the real battle between those two, because the 360 and PS3 were so different, starting with the price. Next gen, M$ won't be able to launch a no wifi, no hdd, no Blu-ray, ... The specs and pricing will be similar and it will come to exclusiv...

Maybe because the Wii U feels like the console that should have launched 6 years ago, not in 2012.
PS3 is now almost even with the 360 and has great exclusives.
Most of all, it made Sony win the format war, and this is probably the biggest thing a console has ever made for its maker. If it wasn't for the PS3 we might be stuck with a crappy extended version of the DVD.
360 is also great, but it lacked of conviction; hard-disk should have been there from beginning and same thing goes for wi-fi connection. HD DVD should have been the game format.

Live has been hacked a few times, just not in the proportion PSN has been because the hackers didn't put their heart into it, therefore M$ never had to release a statement, stop the service, etc...

Zelda is expected to launch in 2014, by then, the Xbox720 and PS4 will have had a launch of themselves.
Yes, Wii had sellers because 3rd party on Wii weren't that so you have to justify yourself buying a Wii by buying some of those party games that you play once in a while.
To go below the 2.5M sold, you have to go at game 59 with Xbox360, 79 for the 2M mark. Position 100 is a 1.66M seller.
On PS3, it's 43 and 63. Position 100 is a 1....
