1) Half-Life Episode 3, or just Half-Life 3
2) DotA ( http://www.1up.com/news/voi...
3) Left 4 Dead on PS3.
easy.
"70 Foot Titan Battles"
Sweet.
"Are Epic"
Eh... kinda flamebait-ish...
"Kratos Has Found New Competition"
Gotta be HHG. No surprises here. Can the man ever post an article that doesn't scream "Look here, I got a headline that's begging to be clicked on!"
"August 31st, 2010 at 3:51 pm"
" His act of being a villain is far from done as we will see what kind of crap he pulls in the final God of War game."
What?
Its quite a great game, one of the best downloadable games out there. Yeah, they should have waited, but for those of us with friends that love playing video games that happen to be in the same room it's quite a fun experience.
BTW: Never played a Tomb Raider game before. Ever. Maybe that makes it better.
Which it is. There is very, very little in this game I could consider to be unbalanced.
Well Uncharted was simply a bigger and better Tomb Raider for a new generation. There's nothing wrong with that, but that is really it's biggest inspiration.
The "orphanage" plot twist was incredibly frustrating but the plot wasn't exactly God-awful, I mean if you really dig into it there are a more nuances in FF8's plot and backstory than any other FF out there. Except maybe 7, but it has multiple games to flesh out a backstory.
I'll just try the demo, see what happens.
Or all 5 DLCs. Ya never know.
I was super worried about this game turning out to be crap (I know, Metroid game being crap, but the first gameplay details left a bad taste in my mouth), but considering the sheer amount of developers on it, I think it'll be ok.
I'm still not sold on the whole "hold Wiimote sideways" being the only control scheme. It was a massive pain in Super Paper Mario, that d-pad was not made for long use.
I think the first game was supposed to be Banjo-Kazooie, since the description specifically says that she spends nearly all her time on her broomstick. (And seeing how Banjo-Tooie wasn't nearly as hard)
Seems to be that way. I was suckered in with Fable II on launch week and I never got past the Hero of Strength. Infact, I actually picked up again this summer and still didn't get past that part (Though I did FINISH that part this time).
Not sure what it is, but the game just didn't interest me that much. Maybe it was the uncompelling villain, or the streamlined combat, who knows. I MIGHT still buy Fable III, but considering you can get Fable II for under $15 now,...
Buying Vegas and Bigplanet... might buy Vanquish, I doubt it though. I've given Platinum tons of release day support (Okami Wii, Madworld, Bayonetta) so I can let this easier sell pass until price drop..
Lost's ending was bittersweet. I loved it at the time, sorta don't like it in retrospect.
They wanted a ending that people would remember (Sopranos), not something that is euphoric (Star Wars VI) I think.
Pic related!
Edit: Gifs don't work on this site, gah!

Someone else, not the developers of Perfect Dark, Conker's Bad Fur Day, Jet Force Gemini, Donkey Kong Country, etc etc, could have made this. I miss the good Rare.
I was pretty damn excited for Bioshock 2, was a bit disappointed after I beat it, and I told myself "Not buying the next one until price drop."
And... I think I'm gonna eat those words.
Admittedly, the car looks cool. $50 cool. Not $150 cool.
Nah. I love Bioshock, Donkey Kong, and Banjo Kazooie, but nothing touches Metroid Prime (+2) in my book. Except maybe Yoshi's Island and DKC2.
Let me know when it gets games, then I might be excited. Meanwhile, I'll be playing real 360 and PS3 games.
To all those companies out there telling us to "give it a shot" (Rare) let me know when you develop something good then MAYBE I'll dump $200 on a possible failure.
