Majora's Mask is quite possibly my favorite or one of my favorite games of all time, but I don't think it's a good representation of the decade as a whole. It's a fan-service sequel that came out in 2000, that shouldn't be the one game that defines that year AND the next 9.
I believe 2000-2009 was the decade of "story-driven experiences" where games tried to become art. As such, the award should have gone to Shadow ...
The game is roughly a gig in size. The Wii's internal memory is 512 mb.
They can't compress it enough to fit for WiiWare.
I really don't. You need a charging cradle to be able to play the thing (Unless they also include a regular cable, but I doubt they will), and the card is of course useful for Gameboy VC. But I suppose some people have cards that are plenty big enough as is.
It's not the consoles that matter for me, I just love all of Blizzard's products. I play my PC more than my PS3 and Wii, and as much as the 360 almost solely due to Blizzard.
So far as the rest of Activision's games, I'll wait on a lot of price drops. I plan on getting Singularity and Blur at $15 or lower, but not much higher than that. Black Ops I'll borrow again later.
Everyone is hopeful for Resistance 3 even though the second was disappointing, this is no different.
Except FF14 isn't exactly a game for either platform to be proud of...
It's not terribly hard to see why they lost money here. Though, if Nier wasn't so unjustly slammed by critics they would have made a bit more profit. Barring the sub-par graphics the game should be an action-rpg classic.
No Megaman in this game would be like no Link in Super Smash, or no Sub-Zero in Mortal Kombat. He's the face of Capcom, it makes no sense to not include him. Especially since Tron Bonne and Zero are here too!
In other news, an unknown blog is bashing a well-known and respected website.
And to do this, they use a picture off of 4chan. Oh, the irony.
There's a reason you only have one bubble there fella. Try acting that spiteful in the real world and see how far it gets you.
But all the characters in Mortal Kombat can jump 6 feet and do backflips. Marcus Fenix... can't.
Other than the top two, maybe three, this list is just... strange on so many levels. Alan Wake should be at the bottom if even on the list, Black Ops and New Vegas should be at the bottom as well (New Vegas especially for being buggy), and Meat Boy should be top 5 easy.
Gears of War is a good franchise sure, but none of the characters are a good fit for Mortal Kombat. I can't really think of too many Xbox characters that would work for a brutal game like this. Maybe Saren?
For what it's worth, the game is an interesting throwback to older RPGs. Pity that, unlike Super Meat Boy to platformers or 999 to point-and-click adventures, it can't stand amongst the best of them.
But it's not a terrible game even still. Just not great.
Exactly. How can people honestly expect Microsoft to just give away cable TV for just $60 a year? Ridiculous.
I still disagree with the $10 increase, since apparently it all went to Activision, but adding channels and charging for them is entirely reasonable. The bandwidth alone would require the premium fee.
I'm not sure if this site or the game itself trolled me worse. Hmm...
It's no DKC2, but even still it's awesome.
Let's not freak out just yet. The director of the movie is known for making almost all critically acclaimed movies and the basic premise of Uncharted is good enough to make a movie, even if it's fairly similar to Tomb Raider, one of the only successful video game-to-movie franchises.
If the film turns out to be a hit, isn't it good enough that the first critically acclaimed video game adaptation is based on Uncharted? That's a pretty big honor for Sony consi...
Well, looks like I'm getting a PS4 then.
Samara? A villain? What?
She's not like completely good but she's much closer to good than evil!
Also way to spoil Heavy Rain!
