And here I thought the game had peaked. It's probably just going to go up, Cataclysm is out in 2 months and it'll probably get back a lot of old players (+ their friends).
Part of me doesn't want to hop on my Japanese PSN account and download this, simply because I don't want to get excited for a game that isn't going to be brought stateside anytime soon.
Decisions, decisions...
Personally I liked Abyss the most for the story, then Vesperia for the combat.
Symphonia is #3 in my book. But that's not to say it's a bad game.
Oh I don't know, maybe because FFX actually had a good number of side quests, a much better plot, and a more traditional battle system?
It's odd that the only truly enjoyable thing I found in FFXIII was the music, and even that was hit-or-miss.
Lost Odyssey, Torchlight, and Darksiders are all extremely well-made games and are definitely worth any gamer's attention. I can't speak for Singularity or Dante's Inferno yet though, let me know when they get cheap and I'll be happy to praise either one.
Star Fox
Jak and Daxter
Chrono
Crash Bandicoot
Pikmin
Something from HHG I actually enjoyed watching. I can't believe I actually want Mortal Kombat even MORE now!
Guys, the writer is the same guy who did the newest Street Fighter film. Remember the Chun-Li movie? Yeah, neither do I.
Don't get your hopes up. There's the slim possibility that they could get an amazing director to hop on board though. I know del Toro has a soft spot for SotC and Ico so maybe he'll be interested, but barring that I wouldn't expect much from this movie.
I can see it now... just wait...
Pre-article:
"Epic Mickey looks pretty disappointing. I doubt it'll go over very well, and it just doesn't interest me at all"
Post-article:
"Day 1 buy as soon as confirmation of this happens. Was incredibly excited for this game all along and now I can enjoy it on my favorite platform."
The only redeeming factor in the DMC trailer was the music. Everything else was pretty... bleh.
It's on my radar nonetheless. I've never really considered myself a fan of the series, but this one has potential I suppose.
So what you're saying is, because he looks like Goku you don't like it?
Man. I am definitely not a DBZ fan, but I LOVED Chrono Trigger.
Nice spoilers. Now I remember why I avoid comments on N4G for games I just bought.
A price drop can be news, but going from $60 to $50 is likely NOT going to make anyone rush out and pick this up.
I'm sure the exact same words were said over that reboot way back when on 360 and PS3. We all know how that turned out.
Interesting. I stopped playing it recently due to a much greater workload on my end, but I may have to check it out once this is implemented. The characters look less cartoon-ish and more like figurines now, which should be very cool.
Very disappointing. After reading this I figured I may as well just look up how it ends, and it's just as bad as IGN writes that it is. Compared to how brilliant Lair of the Shadow Broker is, it feels as though this is an entirely different company doing DLC. One would think that the quality standard would be just as high for the Dragon Age team as it is for the Mass Effect team, but apparently that isn't the case.
Shoulda been free.
Eh, I have, no lie, bought every single main Pokemon release to date. Emerald, Platinum, and HG/SS included. But... B/W hasn't shown anything to really excite me yet. I liked the concept of one flagship Pokemon "set" every console, they've changed that, and I don't think it was for the best. I would have much preferred a 3DS Pokemon title.
It'll take more scores to change my mind. After all, Famitsu gave FFXII a 40/40, and FFXIII a 39/40. I dis...
Yeah, if you arent a fan of Halo, Gears, or Fable, there isn't much of a reason to get a 360 now. The Arcade titles are the best exclusives these days, but they arent THAT important. Granted, there are quite a few JRPGs still exclusive to 360 that are worth playing (Vesperia, Lost Odyssey, etc).
I hope this is free, it might just have to be to compete with League of Legends and, of course, the original DotA. The original isn't free, but their target audience already owns the game and asking those people to pay for another game isn't that easy.
Hell I didn't pick up Newerth after beta simply because I wouldn't pay $30 for it. I ended up buying the Champion Bundle for LoL though simply because they gave me a system that I liked, and I knew that $20 pu...
Sales of PSPs have been going down fairly consistently over the past few months, I wouldn't be surprised if support dried up soon. Just look at Square-Enix's decision to not put Birth By Sleep up for digital download - clearly they don't think that it'll be profitable enough to bother with it. Which is a shame, because the game is fantastic, possibly the best in the series, and Go owners can't even enjoy it!
Granted... I wouldn't be surprised when NP...
