Is that the best you can do? You are the one that made the ignorant comment. No one could have predicted the 360 was going to do this well. The ps3 had the headlines for the entire month of September.

You spend most of your time in forums posting crap like this, I actually spend time researching this stuff. Your posting history has enough anti MS rhetoric for me to infer that you are nothing but a loud mouthed punk kid. So you have owned a ps3 since last October? Very entertain...

Perhaps a Viva Pinata one for you?

In all seriousness, yeah I like Halo, I hope MS does some other rooms that make sense. Hopefully find a way to do some third party rooms. That would give you one more reason to buy a multiplat on the 360.

It will have to be an exclusive with the same clout as Halo. Maybe Forza could have one. Not sure about a Fable one.

It would be cool if Sony did a Metal gear one.

It drive me crazy that some of these Sony losers can not give any credit to the 360. This waypoint thing is a good idea.

Sure blu ray supports 7 channels but most of the movies are still 5.1.

If you want the complete list of 7.1 movies go here : www.avsforums.com

As far as the clearest sound I will assume you actually know what kind of equipment you need to hear the advanced audio codecs.

Look, this streaming service will not match Blu ray on every level. What it does provide is a 'almost as good as Blu ray" on demand service. Most consumers will not even know o...

I am surprised you were that confident that the 360 would do this well. Considering that most people have been saying that they only people that would buy ODST was current 360 owners. Also, the mail in rebate did not do anything to move the 360 up on Amazons sales chart(the only sales tool I had to gauge anything for September) much during the month of September compared to the ps3. So yeah I was surprised. Considering your posting history I bet you are too.

So I guess what you...

The ps3 posted some pretty good numbers. I am surprised the 360 did as well as it did. And the Wii actually lost a month?

Lets see what next month does.

10mb for video? Wrong. It is much higher than that. Try 20+megs per second. I am pretty sure you dont know the exact bit rate for a true 1080p video.

Here www.avsforums.com Plenty of ISF types there to bring you up to speed.

and @above The service is a rental service. There will be no commercials or anything like that. There will is no strings attached with this service for Silver members. MS makes the money when you buy the rental.

Good point. But as you may or may not know you need the following to actually hear Dolby True HD

1- An AVR that will accept and decode PCM (pulse code modulation)
or
2- An AVR that will accept raw True HD data and decode it in the AVR.

And of course, I am assuming you own a blu ray player that internally decodes to PCM or bitstreams the raw data to a compatible AVR.

That said MOST people do not even know they need this stuff. As such, ...

It is unlikely that it is true 1080p video. The bit rate for that is far too high to be streamed to most people in the USA. It is also unlikely that you will get Dolby True HD or DTS Master Audio. That is simply too much data to stream for most connections (all of you 50meg connection people settle down).

This is not on par with Blu Ray when it comes down it to it. That will not hurt it from being adopted by people. I see many people jumping on the 'almost as good as Blu Ray' s...

So you are a home theater expert are you? Then you should know that Vizio is actually one of the best non premium brands out there. Or have you not stayed on top of the reviews the past 4 years? Apparently not.

Vizio has even out performed some Sony and Samsung models. Or did you not know that? Guys don't listen to him Vizio may not be the next 'Kuro', but is an outstanding TV for the money. Anyone that says otherwise is nothing more than an ignorant consumer.

I still have my 10gb Ipod from 2003. 299.00 for that black and white thing. And it still works. I have passed on every version of the Ipod since then and the last Zune. The new Zune is looking pretty nice. XBOX 360 integration, and many other things.

Its funny how so many are mocking the new Zune and have not even bothered to research it.

Ipod will stay king but that does not mean it is the best choice out there.

I think that is great that if you have the right connection you can stream 1080p content for the price of rental(clueless people need to know that Silver gets this as well).

I am a home theater enthusiast and will never take this over Blu Ray.The video bit rate for true 1080p video is very, very high and it is unlikely that they are streaming 25+ megs per second. Most consumers will not even know the difference and probably are the same ones that think they can get 1080p from d...

Dont you have anything else better to do than make duplicate accounts? Are you here to 'bubble' your 'real' account up?

You are missing the point, and the big picture. I used that old, dumb game as an example. You clearly missed it.

XBL uses p2p for may of its games. Something the dedicated Sony crowd loves to mention. There is an advantage to this for many games. I dont need to spell that out for you do I?

5938d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

Dude I am a Level 50 in that game. With all adventures completed and all outfits aquired. Eat it Crysis boy!

5938d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

I like that fact that I will always be able to play ANY of my games online FOREVER. p2p guarantees that.

Keep in mind that for every dedicated server game you buy for the ps3 or from psn that one day you will not be able to play it online anymore. Do you care about that? If you dont then PSN is perfectly fine for you.

I have about 500 or so games. I want to know that I can play these games online whenever I want. Again it all depends on what is important to you.

5938d ago 2 agree1 disagreeView comment

Yup. I can play all of my original xbox games online still. I threw on Sega Gt from 2003 last week just to see if I could(sure can). I like that XBL will always be that way. Sorry to say. But XBL is still the best. I will gladly pay for it to know that I will always be abe to enjoy all of the features of any game I buy.
Sony really needs to have dedicated and p2p so people dont get stuck with a game with only part of its features.

5938d ago 1 agree0 disagreeView comment

The only game that has servers shut off are the EA sport games. And that is because EA requires everyone to login to their servers. When they hit 3 years EA shuts the servers off.

The next server going down on XBL is a dedicated server for Chromehounds. That will happen in January 2010.

Aside from these two all xbox and xbox 36o games will have online forever. That is one advantage of p2p.

Gay Tony and Lost and Damned are NEVER coming to the ps3. Rockstar got its 50 million. So no chance.

Like it or not you need to own all of the consoles to experience everything.

You can get both of those as a stand alone disk that will run with out the original gta4. 36.99 on Amazon.com

Fanboys care about it being on one system only. True gamers understand that you need to own more than one console.
