I like Lair. Gorgeous game. But if graphics were the only thing that made a game a winner then game design would be easy for ANYONE now wouldnt it?
It was a hard game for too many. The learning curve to fly the dragons was too steep for many and the patch came too late.

Heavenly Sword and Lair are gorgeous looking games. The soundtrack on Lair is outstanding. Too bad these games were 60.00 new. HS was pretty short for a 60 game. Lair needed that patch. I still have my copy.

Now now, no one knows who will get GOTY. I personally dont care about if Forza is or isnt as good looking as GT5, I am not really into car sims. It is a nice game but so many really want to split every last pixel and polygon on what makes a 'good game'. Its annoying to say the least.

Do you play all of your games on easy? You can beat it in four hours on easy.
Playing ODST on Heroic or legendary makes the game 8-14 hours for the campaign. Bungie makes it very clear that Halo is meant to be played on Heroic. In fact, when you select Heroic it says 'this is how Halo is meant to be played'
