At the time, Oblivion looked amazing. Fallout 4 looked like shit. Bethesda had been trending downwards for a long time.

“ Will gamepass go the route of its successful based on downloads?”

Right now, as subscriber growth has been driven by the quantity of games, not the quality of games. This is the Netflix route and we see how that ends.

I would say that is has been too long. Simple as that When Microsoft brought Xbox 360 games to Xbox One, it was a big deal. Even the Games with Gold Xbox 360 were a big deal a few years ago. But now the Xbox 360/PS3 era is 2 gens behind and a lot of the best games from that era have remasters or re-releases that work on PS4/PS5.

PS+ and GamePass are soft free-to-play for these games.

Garbage list. Where is Deus Ex: Human Revolution? It is not only one of the best cyberpunk games, it is one of the best games ever made. Also, I’d add the 1997 point and click Blade Runner to the list. And Blood Dragon is a great game, but not really cyberpunk. Adding the word “cyber” to everything does not make it cyberpunk.

The game is not having the supply because of chip shortages and general supply constraints. Microsoft has deeper pockets because of the billions they make from Windows and Office. Sony has to make do on the money it generates from consoles that it can’t make because of chip shortages and supply constraints.

PS+ (Essential) is a different service, and yes, you have access to those games so long as you subscribe to PS+. I’ve downloaded games I added to my library in 2014 with no problem.

Xbox Lives Gold Games with Gold games on Xbox are yours to keep, no subscription required. This is limited to Xbox 360 and original Xbox games. They might not be backwards compatible with your Xbox. Some of mine aren’t.

PlayStation Play at Home games released in 2020 and 2021 ...

If Elden Ring had some for real accessibility features, I’d get it. But I’m really concerned I’ll struggle, hate it, and have wasted $60.

My youngest is playing Horizon Forbidden West on Story Mode and having a lot of fun doing it. Fun is fun. End of debate.

2022 is just another year for Xbox. The only hihbglt anticipated exclusive Xbox has this year is Starfield, if Starfield doesn’t see a delay and if Starfield is good. (Can we see gameplay?)

I buy a game on release about once every 5 years. If games take a year or two to reach PS+, no issue for me. Let Sony enjoy day one sales from folks who don’t want to wait. I do believe we will see day one released for on-like multiplayer games. Many have already gone pseudo free to play on PS+.

Agree 100% with old fashioned game ownership but the future is GamePass and PS+ just like how streaming took over TV , movies, and music. These services and consolidation will squeeze out smaller developers.

Brilliant game. Platinumed it. It’s like Pokémon based on open world phonics puzzles. Hope Microsoft paid them a lot of money for it.

Jesus! Horizon is one of the best told stories in video game history! If you skip dialogue and holographic projections, that’s on you.

North America is Xbox’s stronghold. Microsoft is going to funnel more hardware to North America than any other region. Also, consoles are still selling as fast as they appear in stores. You might see some weak ass Series S in stores, but never the Series X or the PS5 disk or digital.

The TV series needs less talk and more action.

If you pay annually, the middle tier of PS+ is $80 less per year than Game Pass Ultimate. After 5 years, that’s enough savings to find a PS5 digital.

100% wrong. If you are new to PlayStation and haven’t built up a library, you get a huge library of games day one. Just with PS+ Essential, you get the PS+ Collection to play on PS5.
