Well most console ports to date have not needed staggeringly fantastic PC's to run them on. Graphics card wise you will probably need a 7800gtx or 7900gtx to run the game to the consoles eqivulent. As for processor a midrange core2duo will do you. I have two PC's one is a core2duo with 8600gt and that runs the console ports at the same graphical quality and 1280 x 720 res as the console.

I have an xbox 360 it just sits there gathering dust. I find playing fps games far more satisfying on the PC, no framerate issues, much higher resolutions and a far greater amount of control. I watch vids of people playing FPS games with a joypad and it just makes me laugh the way they all stutter about.
I guess when you pay $300 for a console you go into full blown fan mode and will not accept that there is something better out there.
I wouldn't say the consoles had that much of a sterling showing at E3 either. The fact is E3 has become nothing more than an opportunity for the 3 console companies to beat their chest and promise rubbish that isn't actually going to hit the market for another 2-3 years.

well it could be worse you could fall for the tall tale of 1080p @ 60fps that a certain company kept spinning and has since been shown to be a load of rubbish. However most independent people will tell you there is NOTHING out there that touches Crysis for graphics, you just refuse to accept that.
Well personally speaking Crystal Dynamics killed the franchise off for me with that god awful Tomb Raider legends, gone were the intricate puzzles and level exploration, in it's place dumbed down pretty graphics and linear levels. I won't be bothering with this tomb raider either. It is time to let Lara finally die breast implants and all.
