Yeah because there is no piracy on the consoles is there ..... Oh wait there is. I was one of the 1.5 million that bought Crysis and felt royally conned out of my money for a pretty boring FPS that ran horribly even on my Quad with 8800gts and 3gbs of RAM.

I really can't believe people are falling for the Crytek line. Listen up boys and girls it does not matter if Crysis had sold 30 million copies on the PC, they would still be going multiplatform. If only for the simplest reason in the world "they can", there is no one in the PC business that is going to stop them, unlike console manufacturers that lock developers into THEIR platform a PC developer is free to do whatever they like.

@BattleAxe that's funny last time I checked the resolutions were actually getting worse on the PS3. Lets see COD 4 @ 1024 x 600, MGS 4 @ 1024 x 768 (a res I dropped about 4 years ago) and GTA 4 @ 1120 x 640. Infact it is becoming a rarity to see HD resolutions on either console. I do know that my PC though can play ALL games at 1680 x 1050. But of course you will ignore all this and keep spouting the console "party" line.
Well no one bothered with Halo 2 on the PC since MS in it's wonderful wisdom made it Vista only. Yes I know you could hack it to get it working in XP but very few bothered. I really don't know why any pc gamer is still playing Halo to be honest, there are far superior online fps shooters out there, but I guess it takes all sorts these days.

Ok how about Microsoft, Nvidia, Intel, AMD, ATI, Blizzard and Epic. That is just off the top of my head. However do you want to know why other companies are too busy claiming the PC is dying ? It is because they have too much invested in the CONSOLES. It is in their interest to talk down PC gaming because they have been induced by financial incentives to concentrate on consoles.
Really so what were the 300 games being released this year ? With at least 100 of them exclusive to the PC ?. Tell me why Volitian and Criterion Games are bringing their titles to the PC ? Oh wait you can't reply because you only have 1 bubble I don't think I need to wonder why.
well the same could be said for the "PC is dying crowd". They have been saying that since the PS1. How many generations of consoles do we have to go through before people get it into their head the PC is NOT dying ? We had the "dying rubbish" during the PS1 era, then the PS2 era, now the PS3 era, let me guess people will be saying the PC is dying when the PS4 comes out.

Well this comes as no surprise. Microsoft have already stated they are quite willing to sacrifice the PC to gain a larger stake in the console market. I know speaking personally the only reason I use a windows OS is to play games. If someone came up with an alternative to windows that still played games, I wouldn't even think twice about ditching windows.

I will be the first to admit the game has serious failings. I say that having forked out over £200 to buy a console to play it (I know call me an idiot, I have called myself one more than a few times.

well from what I can see that is all you did. Although I do wonder why you marked it 360 and playstation 3 news ? Why would a rumour that GTA 4 is coming to the PC be in the 360/PS3 sections ? Hey personally I don't care myself I just wanted to get this story out as quickly as possible to see if we could get something from Rockstar on the issue. With the rubbish Lucasarts has been spouting with regard to the PC then can kiss my rear end if they think I am giving them any of my money.
Seriously if you can't even meet the minimum specs for this game then you can't be that bothered about starcraft. This game would run on my old setup of a P4 - 2,4ghz and 6600gt which is now in a dump somewhere. Get with the program, you never seem to have any problem shelling out hundreds of dollars to play blah blah 79. So if you are serious about playing Starcraft 2 you will have no problem shelling out a few hundred dollars to play it.
Depends which system you played the game on. The PC version of GTA SA was modded so we could play online. I believe it is up to 500 players online now.
The reason Crysis and Warhead are not using steam is down to EA, they also have a download service which naturally they want you to use. So they are hardly going to allow a competitor like Steam to offer their flagship PC title. Naturally the EA store is nothing but a complete con, they only let you download the game for a period of 6 months after that you have to purchase the game AGAIN unless you pay an EXTRA $7 to buy a "warranty" of up to 2 years.
