The guy has a point that's for sure. Unfortunately the era of Wing Commander is over and all the video game public seems to want is a spoon fed 5 hour experience.
Oh another note I would die with pleasure if we ever saw a remake of the Wing Commander series. Just imagine how mind blowing it could be with today's tech. Ho well I can dream, it isn't ever going to happen.
Erm that is my point, the DLC will come to the PS3 probably shortly after the PC version. Rockstar only do TIMED exclusivity, the DLC is timed and you can bet your life Agent is timed.
Oh yeah man GOTFY (Game Of The F***ing Year) pfft the consoles with their puny sandbox games like GTA 4. The PC is the king of sandbox baby just look at that hundreds of miles of sandbox driving. I mean seriously how are you console gamers going to cope without playing this game with it's hours and hours of driving, driving and then some more driving and just to top it off there will be DLC with more driving.

Do they honestly think PC gamers care about this console dross ? This title will have massively low sales on the PC but on the plus side will suffer very little piracy on the PC. The simple reason being the first was so absolutely crap that no one will waste the bandwidth on the sequel.
Oh look everyone the REAL reason why they ditched dedicated servers and went with a p2p network that they control. It has nothing to do with making MP easier or "combating" piracy and it has everything to do with them wanting to rape PC gamers for a bit more money.

The DLC is inevitable, it isn't just the achievements that have been added. There is a new commandline in the game called "-uninstall content" which apparently exists to "Uninstall GFWL GTA In-game content" Hm I wonder what they could possibly mean by GFWL GTA In-game content ?
@ Blaze929 - Microsoft are not the biggest fans of PC gaming, they don't gain anything by supporting gaming on their operating system since nearly all computers include Windows by default. If you look at MS's history on PC gaming they have done nothing but keep stuff off the PC. They refuse to bring Halo 3, Gears 2, Fable 2 and now Alan Wake to the PC.

When the PC version of GTA 4 was announced Rockstar was asked about the DLC coming to the PC, I wonder if you can guess what Rob Nelson the producer of the PC version said ? Yep he clearly stated that "The DLC is exclusive to the Xbox 360". Now nearly a year later lo and behold their are The Lost and Damned achievements in the PC version. Oh god don't give them ideas. I can see IW doing that for the next COD they do "yeah we removed keyboard and mouse support because PC gamers wanted the game to be more accessible". I don't hold out much hope for the future of COD on the PC now. I think IW should just ditch the PC, they obviously have no interest in us PC gamers now and they are doing more harm than good.
Unfortunately my PC didn't cost me $4,000 so I am unable to play this game according to Lucasarts. Actually that should be "fortunately" I can't play it on my quad with GTX260 (which didn't incidentally cost me $4,000).

If you had suggested a month ago that Infinity Ward were dropping dedicated servers you would have been branded as clinically insane. The fact is these days you can't trust any developers. Sure DICE are making all the right noises but the "proof is in the pudding" as they say.
I got my beta invite on the 28th September 2009. The first time I played it I was aghast at how awful the frame rate was. I mean fair enough my quad with GTX260 isn't a "power house" but I would expect to get better than single figure fps on low settings.
I did two or three play test sessions up till I think the 10th October. After that the game just couldn't hold my interest and I didn't feel inclined to carry on with the beta.

Maybe it is my age but I was in the beta for Shattered Horizons and I thought it was an atrocious game. The performance was awful (single figure frame rates on a quad with GTX260) even on low settings. The game itself was incredibly repetitive and "samey". To be honest I consider $20 to be a rip off for a shattered horizons. I would've been a bit more positive if it had been free like Battlefield heroes.
Any one thinking of getting this game should WAIT for a demo...

No one knows the details behind the 50 million deal. There is circumstantial evidence that the 50 million deal may have actually been a cash advance to Rockstar and MS expects it to be paid back. If that is the case then that changes the whole dynamics of the deal and opens up the possibility it will come to the PC/PS3.

I got my copy of Win7 Home nearly a week ago. Not actually bothered to install it yet since I am still using the RC. It annoys me a bit that I have to do a whole damn format to install the purchased OS but I will get round to it eventually.
I think they got the pricing just right this time, it cost me £50 and that felt a reasonable price and yes it is worth it to avoid all the crap with boot loaders, bios hacks and all the other crap you have to do to keep your OS updated...
Better still choose to NOT PLAY IT AT ALL. If you pirate it to play it you are still part of the problem. I have no intention of buying COD MW2 but then I have no intention of illegally downloading it. I won't die if I don't play this game and the message will be that much louder.
I imagine the reason why mouse control isn't supported on the console is down to the way consoles are used. Any season PC user on this board will have heard the "yeah well I can sit on my couch and play games with my console hooked up to my TV" argument. Well BINGO there you go daddyo that is why mouse and keyboard support isn't present in nearly all console games.

I demand we see comparisons between the Real Life version, PC version, 360 version and PS3 version. Then we will get the 360 users saying theirs is better, the PS3 using screaming "don't be silly blu-ray clearly makes our version more realistic" and PC gamers going pfft look at the really naff low res textures on the real life version my GTX45898 can max this game out at 2,000fps.
