I am French, and here you can find Serie X in stock at several big retailers.
So that means that Serie X demand is fulfilled, while PS5 is out of stock everywhere and sell in minutes as soon as some restock appear.
I would say that release it was the right move, at least on PC.
Sure it’s requiring a lot of fixes, but at least now CDPR will provide fixes as per priorities voiced by the community.
The risk not to release it again would have been in my opinion that the devs goes in endless turd polishing mode on small details and missing the big picture.
I think scripting fix is what requires the most efforts from now.

This dropping resolution BS was the most sneaky and misleading MS PR for a long time.
Now you all see the results in many games: the S needs to drop resolution, frame rate and details to try to output something presentable.

Exclusives are critical hardware selling assets for console makers. It push them to go across boundaries an propose never seen before games.

Same here. Didn’t play a couple of PS4 exclusives yet, (TLOU 2, GoT, Medievil, Crash 4), waiting (desperately) to play them on a PS5.
PS5 BC level of quality is surprisingly good, at a level that some remakes should not be needed anymore.
Plus for people having external HDD for games install on PS4, the move on PS5 looks like almost plug and play.

I think DF just game the answer: MS development flow needs to include so much platforms from all Xbox consoles to PC.
Maybe SX architecture is to much conservative to achieve it without killing the devs, while on the other side Sony built the best architecture with no constraints for BC an PC.
