Infinity blade 3 was pretty stunning and the demo in the article above looked amazing, and there are some pretty big hitters in the gaming industry working in this area.
You are right about Last of US, but be honest that was the best looking game on the PS3 ever , and stood far above others. That was not the norm for last gen. Maybe you should be using the likes of resistance 3 or Ratchet and clank in your argument. Even the Walking Dead game looked just as good on both.
The way technology is moving with Mobile devices , it won't be long before they do have the power to out perform a PS4 or XB1 , connectivity will be wireless to the TV and you will sync a DS4 via bluetooth . When Indie developers realise there games can be ported to the app store and have a 800 million device install base they won't think twice.
Bit of silly title to get attention but I can see his point , i too after infamous and Killzone had very little to play on my shiny PS4 but between it and the xb1 i survived , but my biggest issue , and this is for the XB1 as well , is that both consoles had amazing predecessors to draw from function wise and it seems neither did a very good job of transferring features. No streaming , no mp3 , chat ( on xb1 nightmare) etc.
Im sure all will be fixed / addressed in the future...

I like the guy, shame how things ended with Sony , but don't blame him for walking , if i had performed and they wanted to halve my salary to keep in line with the other Sony Execs after the financial loses of the last year id be pretty pissed too.

Its a hard one , part of me wants to try it for myself but the other part is getting a bad vibe from reviews and the game play i have seen.
I liked this review , it seemed honest and i have not seen anyone else mention or pick up on the multiple guys.
I was really surprised how much i liked this game. Having your characters really die was such a pleasant change in a game, and made me change how i approached things. Really well made and so much fun.

After second son , my PS4 gathered dust. Hoping E3 has some amazing releases slated for 2014 , after news of the Order being pushed i don't see much to stop it being boxed up till 2015.

Are you telling me Second son wasn't held back from the PS4 launch so it could be released against Titanfall… of coarse it was. Everyone could see it. So if thats true then its hardly a conspiracy….. this is a massive billion dollar game to these companies.

All this strategic shuffling is annoying to say the least. Sony held back Second Son to go against Titanfall now they hold back The Order so i doesn't eat into the Last of US HD revenue and buzz , while it also goes up against Halo 2.
If we all had not be so happy about TLoU HD maybe this would not have happened.
If this has truly been in production since 2010 it should be finished , judging by the shot of the Case , I would say it could ship on time if...

Just because the said it was in the works since 2010 , doesn't mean it was always meant for the PS4 …. nowhere does it state that.
The original ryse was a kinect game… so glad they dumped that idea , Ryse for XB1 was a great game , one of the best stories so far then Gen.
The Order sounds as if it was meant to be a PS3 game , that got converted to a PS4 game that now needs time to make it a truly next gen title… I would rather it be delayed and good , rather than released and be "Meh"
USB 3 connected mini 360 that allowed hardware backwards compatibility for $49 US. Then Games for gold bought to XB1…
Followed by StarWars games exclusive to XB1
Followed by Left 4 Dead 3 Exclusive.
Followed by State of Decay MMO.
Followed by Halo remakes.
And maybe add in New Xb1 with 1TB and 2Tb configs and new colours
@ GameDev1 yeah i see what you are saying and don't get me wrong the idea of PS Now is great , but i see to many reasons why it will fail to be the hit Sony needs it to be. My opinion is that unless they release fresh new content on the PS now platform it will not be a success, or at least not successful enough to pay for itself. If its main focus is rerelease back catalogs then it will fail.The hand full of good AAA games that only shipped on the PS3 platform is not enough to keep people locked into an ongoing subscription, And the idea of playing a game that is streamed onto my cellphone , using all my data and not holding it locally is not going to work in th...
I don't think they will bundle them , because they need to be able to give them away with PS+ in the future.
