Why not have both? Prices are dropping and then you don't miss out on the exclusives .
For me still prefer the XB1 controller for FPS , but the ds4 was great for last of us.

Ive seen a few of the thumb sticks on the demo machines at stores suffering from the thumb stick rubber breaking. Good on Sony for fixing . They are the master of avoiding bad press this Gen.
A simple solution , would be instead of the free games being chosen by Sony every month , PS + users get their choice of 2 free monthly rentals from the PS Now catalog.

They need to release the rumoured xbox mini that plugged into the xb1 and allowed it to have 360 backwards compatibility at a hardware level.
That would be a hardware bundle that people would not HATE instead of a Kinect.
That would seriously help people jump from the 360 to the xb1
They already do a subscription service built into PS+ .
They would have to cut games or include PSNow in Plus and they would never do that….

Like i said its a demo principle renamed as a 4hr rental.
Its a way of generating revenue from service usage when people want to try a game before they purchase the full game.
Its all crafted in such a way by Sony's PR department.

remastered Cod Multiplayer maps running 1080p @60FPS = money money money.
throw in the Spec Ops and a separate Remastered complete Zombie game.
People would buy it….. lots of people. It would also help people leave there old consoles.
THey need this tech to work because they don't want to make another console.

It will be hard for them to match the prices of an EA system. EA is piggy backing on an existing service for download. Sony forked out something like 300 million for the PS Now service. They need to recoup costs and are hoping the Momentum the PS4 has would have people happy to pay the prices listed. And they would have !, if EA had not piped up and become a fly in the ointment.
Even the most diehard Sony fans are seeing the pricing as a stopping point. They can't drop the price...
Hopefully this will help fund some of the better games to be remastered for the next generation of gamers to enjoy. There are some classics that truly deserve an HD remake.
Why would the cut the price? its still selling well and Sony want the profit.
They turned it down because it is competition for PS+.

Whats to stop EA from re-releasing remastered version of there best selling titles and adding them in also.
You can't tell me the idea of a subscription model for The CoD back catalog remastered would not be a money maker.

At launch ? lots !. NZ only just got voice control last month even though i got a day one console last year.
My point is they should never have shipped with less features.
Would you buy a new phone if it had better graphics but no text messages? But it will be added in a future update? No and the phone makers know that so they would never try and ship a product like that .
yeah both these next gen systems are lacking in features. They should never have shipped if they didn't have at the very least the same working features as there predecessors.
