Looks like a game Sony will give away free on the PS+ for the PS4.
Cant see it making any real money.
free backwards compatibility would sell a lot of boxes.
Giving people access to the games they already own would give MS a massive amount of good karma amongst gamers.
Maybe this time Sony will front up with the cash to help a struggling studio to bring the game out.

Not for Bungie , they should be platform agonist. They want to sell as many copies as possible. Bungie made a lot of money from MS from Halo , and stand to make a bunch more over the 10 year life span of the Destiny series. Activision are pulling the strings of exclusivity just like EA did with Titanfall.
Its not bungie , its activision that are pushing for the PS4 as the lead platform.
its a fun game and a contender for future e-sports. Well done to respawn for their first release as a studio. Success means sequels and thats got to be good for a game industry and gamers.
Sony won't drop the price , they need the money.
The smart thing for MS now would be to force a price drop , and make Sony start to lose more money on every box sold.
That way they would need to double attach rates to regain revenue. Effectively taking Sony's cash cow and neutering it .

My Delsin is standing on a street corner next to a letter box waiting for my return when the DLC drops……… Fun game , too short, mandatory second play through for complete started to make the game feel tedious and repetitive.

Im conflicted with this. Honestly I love the idea of classic games being remade , being able to play Halo with my son was awesome.
I think classics need to be reproduced for the next generation to enjoy ,but the Last of Us is barely a year old , the visuals were stunning and really don't need or warrant a remaster, the story was what made the game really the best out of the last 5 years.

GWG are given to you , to keep. PS+ stops access when you stop paying. that is the difference in models.
The results of add-on purchases will happen with both in differing degrees.
Just because they have not repeated any games yet , doesn't mean they will not in the future. Not everyone has had a PS+ account since it was started.

I love the ides of PS+ but at some point i know they will have to repeat the games for the new PS users and then it won't seem so attractive.
Eventually PS+ will turn into PS NOW and the user will hopefully just get to choose 3 games from a catalog rather than the Sony chosen games per month.
GWG is not even in the same business model. They give away for free a game in the hope that it will trigger a purchase of the sequels and DLC.

Hey there , I was sitting just over 50% before I deleted DR3 . I realise I still have half but my concern is sitting around half full 3 months into the life of console makes me want to at least have a external storage option sooner rather than later.
Would have liked to see external HDD support in this one…… I'm creeping closer to the dreaded 100% full pretty quickly .
Apart from that Im pretty happy with what the xbox team are doing.
Why buy the remaster , when you will be able to play it on PS Now in the not to distant future ???
