Looks like they tried to make a gears game and drop it into steampunk Victorian era. Can't see it being as well revived as LoU , which to be fair is now the benchmark for this type of game.. And no multiplayer will have it in the pre owned bin pretty quick .
half Life 3
star wars commandos 2
bullet storm 2
Starcraft 2
left 4 dead 3
Stunning. Look forward to to seeing how deep the story is. Once again shame about no multiplayer , looked as if it could have been quite fun with the weapons they were using.
This is great , but i have a couple of issues with it. This is the end of physical media and how well will multiplayer function?
My Ps4 doesn't get used since i completed Second Son, tried to fill void with Killzone MP but it never really grabbed my attention like a Halo or a CoD. Pretty much been filling time with Titanfall , Garden warfare and BF4 . I really hope Sony start to put more into there multiplayer side of games. Without it I'm finding it hard to justify paying release day prices , perfect example is Second Son. Game would have been perfect for Superhero multiplayer, a massive opportunity missed....
It looks great , but after second son was finished and now sits on the shelf gathering dust, i am thinking i might wait till this is cheaper or pick up a second hand copy. Games need either frequent dlc or multiplayer .
We need more games like this ……. being able to share the experience of campaign game play with friends is what gaming is about in my opinion.
Sometimes its nice to sit in a room and play a game that makes you the star of a movie , but anyone thats played Borderlands 2 , L4D etc….with friends knows that single player is no where as much fun.
This why i have a PS4 , Its my go to console for single player games , but the XB1 is home for multiplayer.
Jean Luc Picard in a pink suit…… how could this game possibly be bad.
These guys should hire their services to the Companies who don't seem to be able to make games run at 1080p on the XB1 . After all this time it turns out to be a developer issue not so much a hardware issue… go figure.
Lets all be happy both the versions are 1080p 60fps ! Its a first in this next gen ! it goes to show both can do it , when the maker of the game puts in the effort ,now we get to enjoy more games like this. Unless they come from Ubisoft or Activision it seems.
Will love to hear Activisions reasons for the next CoD not being 1080p 60fps……
the big question here is if these game makers can make 2 versions running 1080p 60 fps on both consoles , then why can't companies like Activision and Ubisoft .
Really people the parity issue isn't because the consoles are not capable but because the game makers are creating this falsehoods to boost the sales of one product over another.
If Wolfenstien can run at 1080p 60fps on the XB1 then so could CoD Ghosts. So why didn't the XB1 get a day one patch like the PS...
i just hope they use this power to make fun multiplayer games , My PS3 /4 are my Solo campaign consoles , where the 360/xb1 have been my fun multiplayer games. But I'm tired of forking out for games on the PS that give 1 play through and lame or no multiplayer.
they would have more success with a bundled disc of all Cod Zombie games and maps….
hopefully they do release the HD remakes of halo 1-4 on the 360 as well as the Xb1
At the end of the day , both will hit the magic 1080p 60 fps….. after that its the games you get to play with others that really matters. So moving on !
I joked about this on a previous post ! This is a clever move !! and a perfect lead in to halo 5.
With all of the reveals of late , i can only imagine they have some atomic weapon that will destroy everything else …… My god !!!! MS have secured the console rights to
HALF LIFE 3 !!!!
and the internet explodes….
Another indie title for PS + to give away till the AAA titles start to filter through. Hope they make good money from leasing their game out.
Cant think of a killer blow, but if MS gave away free backwards compatibility it would destroy PS Now from a financial stand point. Sony paid a lot for that tech , and if the competitor released a free version it would crush any chance to recoup that money. Which is something Sony really can't afford.
