Oh a ten? Nothing to see here then, move along, wait for the next 8 /s
If I wrote a review for this game I'd be SO tempted to give it a 7, simply because of the hits it would get from this site alone. I'd use the money from ad revenue to have one word lasered onto the moon...
"SUCKERS!"
It seems to me you've put far too much thought into something that means very little. Gamerzone is a superfluous, self proclaimed sub-title with little meaning beyond labeling yourself into a stereotype.
I do find it interesting how different people view the zones though. Some, like yourself, would say the recreation zone is for "true casual gaming" and that users in this zone tend to use their Xbox for media as much (or more) than gaming. I would be an excep...
Argh! I want to scroll down but now I'm scared :D
Thanks though.
Mostly over-optimistic as these things tend to be. In the future taxi drivers will be underwear models and the underground train system is clean? Don't think so :D
Nothing in this piece of conceptual well wishing is a new idea, just augmented reality mixed with 3D, touchscreen and sensor technology. So far the best augmented reality and 3D technology has been shown working from Sony:

Am I the only one who thinks it's cute? I even have the little plush along with a cactuar and chocobo :D
Yeah it is getting a little tired but I just thought there may have been one or two people that may not have seen it.
Internet veterans need not apply :)
Goldeneye cover, if you see it, you can never unsee it!

There needs to be some kind of video game journalism watchdog. An organisation which could approve and promote websites that inform, entertain or educate without the need for sensationalist exaggeration.
Maybe that's a bit too 'nanny state' though, if people just stop clicking the obvious flame-bait headlines the problem would go away by itself; however we all know the number of naive gamers far outweigh the experienced ones.
"Uncharted 3 is, first and foremost, for those of us who prefer their gaming without a side of teabagging and a sprinkle of racial abuse."
Amen to that!
Very insightful, the thought truly never crossed my mind but it's so obvious now that you've pointed it out. It's almost beautiful in it's simple symmetry as if Naughty Dog/Sony actually planned it this way.
+well said
p.s do you mind if I use this parallel in a future blog/article?
You got a good chuckle outta me, well played sir ^_^
I pwned your wife ;D
I can see you feel strongly about this so I'll use my last bubble to rebuke, bearing in mind this is starting to seem off topic.
"I see your viewpoint is terribly miscontrued on what you think "making more choices down the road" means."
I'm not sure what you mean here, maybe you meant to type 'misconstrued' there but, if that's the case, then your sentence makes little sense. I don't mean to be a grammar nazi or an...
I disagree, choosing to follow an organised religion or political stance does in fact restrict freedom of thought. Both encourage you to share their views on any given subject and just 'take it on faith' that they are correct, religion moreso than politics. Take creationism for example, it's a scientific fact that the Earth is billions of years old, yet some religions would have you believe its only in the thousands despite overwhelming evidence opposing it.
I...
"The things is. Science explains a lot of things. It is methodical and is constantly improving upon itself. It makes logical conclusions from empirical evidence to figure out how our world works. However, the explanations for our universe found in religions really have no basis other than heresay. In fact, we have many scientific discoveries that completely contradict what what religions state happened such as the adam and eve story. Many of the stories found in religious books are just ...
I'm unsure if your talking about my blog here because nowhere in it do I 'defend' DVD from Bluray, in fact, I make the point that needing only one disc is an advantage that should not be ignored.
The blog is ONLY about making a decision when choosing a multi-plat version and NOT about the possible adverse affects one particular format may have caused.
I completely agree that DVD has held back certain games in some respects and I also believe the l...
Most of those games came out in the Nineties, FF7 in particular in 1998, over 13 years ago. When PS2 hit the shelves and helped introduce DVD to the mainstream it brought along FFX that fit onto one DVD. Now, a generation ahead, we're back to Final Fantasy on multiple discs? Whether you allow disc swapping to take away from your own personal experience or not, it still feels like a technological step backwards.
Hmm maybe I wasn't clear enough there, I wanted to convey the point that it IS a deciding factor (or flaw in your words) but just a small one in a myriad of variables. If it was the only factor in a perfectly 'balanced' game then, yes, you should definitely go with the one without disc swaps.
"...my Limited Edition MGS4 console (less than 10k made for North America) that I paid $600+ for at launch direct from Konami..."
Wow well that proves you must be a massive PS3 fan huh? You must really love the Playstation brand and also Metal Gear Solid 4 to pay all that 'money', I bet you're constantly saying how great the PS3 is in forums and comments sections?
BELIEVE ME, we're neither completely opposite nor similar in any way. ...
