I wrote a 7/10 on the PC version and 1/10 for PS3. My PS3 version will freeze every 5 minutes without fail. PC version works fine, though.
My PS3 version is a piece of trash. It freezes every 5-10 minutes, no lie. Have not made it past the prolog, and this is with 8 hours or so of trying.
Finally just ponyed up and bought another version on Steam, which works magnificantely. Problem is, I am now stuck with a non-working PS3 signature edition. Bioware/EA really fudged up this release for a good bunch of us. Check out tech support on Bioware's forums, it's overrun with issues, confusion, frustration, ...
I cant even get my signature version to load on my ps3. Bioware fudged up hard on this release, IMO. Already submit a "ticket" to both EA and Amazon.
It's bad when a pirated copy runs and a legit CONSOLE version won't.
"You can hardly argue that many new games have gameplay that is inspired, they all tend to stick to what they know works."
For real? Here's some for you to check out: Heavy Rain, UFC franchise, Fallout remakes, Assassin's Creed, Batman Arkham Asylum, Dead Space, Castlevaina Lords of the Shadows, Red Dead Redemption, UC2, Mass Effect 2, Infamous, Valkyria Chronicles, inFamous, Bioshock, LBP, DJ Hero, Dragon Age, etc etc. They build upon things that work, the...
@Sheikah - DA:O was and is, in my opinion, a lot harder on the PC. Bioware altered a lot of things for console gamers - major things being 100% regeration rate for mana bonus, and 50% faster health regen. The PC version is a more complete version in my opinion, but I enjoy playing console games more, so I bought both. I'll play through once on my PS3 signature version, and playthrough again on the PC. The first game was dramatically different in play style between PC and console IMO -...
The graphical engine was beautiful for DA:O... just not on consoles... they were horrific and bland on the PS3 and 360, I am hoping they really use the technology better because it's a gorgeous game on the PC.
I'll be picking up the PS3 signature version from the mailbox tomorrow while I play my copy from Steam in 5 minutes :)
While that character model may be somewhat unique, the gameplay does not look so inspired. Never even heard of this game and it looks like it is releasing this year? Maybe I will read the article attached to the video...
And they have applied this correction to the title.

Wow... we dont want a new engine because it would cost money and time, and we want to get a COD game every year, so no go!
Another reason why COD will eventually crash and burn - flood the market with your own product and you get Guitar Hero syndrome
eh I agreed with maybe 25% of this article. Opinion piece for sure.
honestly. i've run the dev build... er.. seen it run.... on a Asus G73 w/ 12GB DDR and a 480M at max, and it looks gorgeous. The gameplay isn't much fun, they did a good job making the powers more streamlined but by doing that they also make the suit less diverse - i feel less empowered. The aiming is crap, the hit boxes are all off, and the weapons need some revamping because they dont quiet handle right. All minor tweak fixes...
and this was the dev build from Ja...
agreed but.... why even bother with that comment in the first place, this has nothing to do with KZ3.
someone like me would not, though.
from what I've seen from the dev build, it's pretty damn close to done. I would be honestly surprised if it was 100% done yet and just have the month of printing copies left.
The issue is not that it was pirated; it was that it was pirated this long before launch. it's pretty devastating to have your game widespread available to anyone who knows how to run a torrent or has an account with popular host sites to your sales figure, especially with over a month of being leaked BEFORE launch.
this resume is over a year old.
this is rumor mill BS. still no solid confirmation on how far along it is.
slight spoiler nothing you couldnt have predicted
I AM NO LONGER IMMERGED!!!
But seriously, i got a cooler graphical bug where a guys leg stretched 2 stories or so to his corpse on the ground, bugging on like crazy.
Maybe I should write a blog about it and submit it to n4g, I see it can get me on the front page
@RedSky
I have the signature edition, and alas, lacking the foresight to know my copy would not work beyond the starting menu, I unlocked all my DLC before playing a new game, like most people would. At least, I do for all my games.
The problem is Amnazon can only repay me what I paid - which I am considering as I've bought the PC version and am on playthrough #2. I have a ticket that has been escalated twice with EA (didn't go through bioware, that...
