Sony took it WAY to far subeniaing for a list of ALL IPS THAT VIEWED HIS VIDEOS OR WEBSITE. That means even though I have a legit PS3 and do not support hacking, my IP, address, and name is on Sony's mega-list somewhere and they had no right to pull that information from my web browser. Different story if it was done on their PS3 web browser. I take no issue with them scanning every bit of digital data on PRIMARY suspects, but not on every little person out there.

Othe...

Its like chess. Sony and hackers. "

More like:

It's like chess. Any company and piracy/being robbed.

Piss poor comparison pictures... Seriously? Clearly the gamma has been fudged with. Crytek claims the final versions of the two are identical, I do not doubt that very much. From what I've seen through.... well... beating the PC version... It's a good looking game and fun to play but suffers from over-hyper syndrome, with a small bit of squeal-being-confused disease.

@Cez

lol. While I do admit especially in the beginning there was no real good dev working going on for the PS3 besides MotorStorm and Resistance 1, we are far, far from those days now. To say otherwise is just wrong by fact.

I will say I am still pissed at some of the horrible dev work done on multiplates: specifically DA2 and COD:BLack Ops barely run on my PS3, if at all. 5-10 minutes, console freeze.

A patch for a demo? You will be waiting quiet a while sir.

I thought it was well done and there wasn't much bias. It's difficult placing nonphysical, idealistic properties onto a game for everyone, though. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, hence the wild variety we see in FPS games. Some are light, colourful, and vibrant, while others have a more realistic artistic direction. I fully believe this is the way they wanted the product to come out, and I still enjoy multi-player simple deathmatchs enough to play for hours on end.

I thought this was going to be a trash article but actually rather neat, especially if you are into linguistics. But beauty is in the eyes of the beholder, ain't it?

That video gave me a headache. Very cool tech, much better done than the Wii's headtracking hack, but far from original or breaking news.

The kid should have gotten his dad to do the voice for the video, his braces and voice cracking just made me laugh :)

I hope they get the message - to much game protection makes a game undesirable.

@MDK - This makes sense to me. Still, they are no more exposed than they would be should you take your child to the beach, and honestly, as less likely to sleep or do something crazy while being paid compared to getting drunk at the beach.

Just putting it into perspective - it's okay for your kids to be exposed to hyper-realistic M-Rated games being displayed - but not to hot chicks wearing more than a bathing suit? Don't bring the kids to the Duke Nukem booth than ...

Looks legal to be besides the repackaging may be an issue and Sony may want to make it clear the unit has been opened by Gamestop... but really I think the lesson is this:

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH GAMESTOP. They open crap, lowering the value, and sell it at retail. Even some of the games I used to purchase "new" from their store was clearly opened before and then resealed - some containing scratches etc. This would be cheaper to buy seperatly, they're hitting ...

Wii play shouldn't be on the sales board for games due to the fact that it is the only way to get the controller.

I never have, nor will I probably ever go to a convention, but why the hell not? I take pictures with ringside girls at UFC events, pictures with models are bars promoting beers, etc - what is the issue here?

shock... sloots getting paid green to stand half dressed at a majority nerd/journalism convention for Duke Nukem. I never would have imagined in my wildest dreams....

Is this really news? If they want to whore themselves out in this way, let them. It's not sex, they're just selling with sex, which every market does in some manner.

I give my Steam PC copy a 6/10 - should be a 5/10 but I forgive EA for the DLC stunt - just because I *love* bioware.

Unfortunately, I give my signature edition PS3 version a 1/10 due to the fact that everything works - DLC, Options Menu, Main Menu, Cineamiatics, Unlockables - but the game freezes every 5-10 minutes making the game unplayable. I have spent about 10 hours now trying to get to the first available save point to no avail.

This game deserves a 7/10 at best - it's a downgrade from DA:O, a prequel.... and thats if you can get your damn copy to even WORK for more than 10 minutes... if you can, youre the one of the lucky ones.

the console versions are the ones that freeze on me every 5 minutes,,, waiting desperately for a hot fix patch hopefully ASAP!!!!

This is a spin article - had his original psot been duplicated, you would have seen why he got banned for 72 hours... it was certainly not for speaking ill of bioware, and right now they deserved it for the horrible unplayed signature ps3 edition i got,

at least my steam one works though
