Agreed completely. I realize localization takes some time, but it shouldn't take as much time as it did in the past. Also, I feel that most, if not all, Japanese games should eventually make their way here in some form or another.
Fine, don't localize the voice acting (it is usually horrendous anyway), but at least the text. Then just leave Japanese voices.
Anyway, I'll get off my soap box now. ;)
This is an interesting idea, right up Apple's alley, actually.
Looks pretty sweet.
I always cringe when I see graphical comparisons, kind of a pet peeve of mine. Also, community is highly important. Highly.
Ah, I wish I could get into this beta, it looks positively hot.
Basically they want to one up Apple, which isn't going to happen.
Typically, unless it is a group of friends or a clan, the entire team isn't working together. Sure they can accomplish stuff, but there always seems to be one crazy person who wants to do his own thing.
That's part of the reason I don't play online multiplayer unless it's with friends.
Real time battles are a mixed bag to me. Some games do it right, some do it horribly wrong. But the ones that do it right are definitely winners, so I hope this one fits that bill, too.
Shank looks hot, and that is all I can say about that. What else needs to be said? ;)
I do think game controls sometimes lean toward the ridiculous. This isn't limited to just the fighting genre, either.
But if the lag is only so slight, is it that big of deal for anyone outside of big competitions? Doubtful. It can't be that bad for the average gamer.
I can't stand behind the idea of tacking co-op on to the standard Final Fantasy titles, I just don't want to give Square-Enix any ideas that are going to drive the franchise even farther into the hole.
They need to revert some and go back to Final Fantasy's roots more, instead of giving in to the co-op craze this generation seems to be stuck in.
Yeah, this iteration of Hot Pursuit is more realistic than Burnout Paradise, but there are obviously arcade-style elements to it in abundance. The game looks great!
I wont buy a game based solely on multiplayer, like a lot of people do. If the MP is good without sacrificing single player game elements, like Uncharted 2, then great. It ads more value to the game. But no matter how good the MP is, I won't buy it unless the single player campaign or story is worth it to me. I guess this is why I don't own any FPS games...
I remember playing the original back in the day. An HD remake sounds pretty cool.
If they even improved upon what they did last year, that is a good thing, since last year's was pretty hot.
Various religious and mythological aspects have been present in games for a long time, but rarely do they bring as much depth to the story as they do in RPGs.
Trust me, I can definitely related to that "addiction". ;) Been there, done that, don't want to go back.
I'm looking forward to playing this at some point. I'll just toss it on top of my stack of other games to play.
Hilarious! Yet, oddly I can somehow see this happening...
