Of course you get a massive performance loss with 4x MSAA. Do you know how MSAA works?
My rig pulls close to 1100 watts when under load...
Minimum req is a 9800GT, which is almost twice as powerful as HD4000. It might just run though on low sub 720p resolutions.
MGS2 is a post-modern masterpiece/work of art, and is in many ways the most impressive game in the series, or most impressive game period.
Too bad most people are too dumb to understand it, its plot and its subplots. It also sold very good, despite being a game made to challenge the player, prove certain points and to deliver a message, instead of catering to the player to reach sales numbers.
MGS2 is the perfect, and perhaps only example of things a video ga...
It was going to end with MGS4 anyways. All good things must come to an end at some point. Just sad he wont be making the remakes.
MGS2 was supposed to be named MGSIII and was meant to be the last MGS game, go figure.
My ROG Swift is ready :D
Not played GZ on Xbox One, but it is definitely one of the best PC ports of the past couple of years. Runs and looks amazing on PC.
It works great in the movie industry. "Let's go watch that Warner movie tonight" said no one ever... "Let's go watch that Tarantino movie tonight", been said a million times.
And Modern Warfare 2 was just crap. 90% The 13-16 year olds who buy those games had no idea about any names of developers.
I don't think they have won. I think they have signed their own death penalty. Konami is having a hard time as is. MGS is kind of their only huge franchise at the moment. They cannot afford to screw it up, and they will without Kojima, 100%.
Same reason why the company policy at Ubisoft says: "Usage of brain is strictly prohibited"?
Probably something to do with money. Koji refusing to start making yearly/bi-yearly MGS releases?
He can go on Kickstarter and become the next Chris Roberts! (Except for the vaporware part of course)
Just wait for it. Konami is going to start a new MGS franchise with yearly releases! MILK THAT COW!
It's ok. We can just pretend they don't exist.
At this point, I am pretty sure that the whole Sutherland thing was a forced PR move by Konami. I am so boycotting these guys after this game.
@Batzi, that is actually false. MGS4 was teased all the way back at E3 2005. And was shown at all conescutive E3s up until release in 2008.
I'm starting to wonder if the decision to replace Hayter with Sutherland was a PR move from Konami.
I'd choose Otsuka over Sutherland any day of the week.
Yeah. to run a game like Battlefield 4 at 1440p 120hz refresh rate stable with a VR headset will require something along the lines of GTX 780 in SLI or better. We're talking at least 5-6 times as much graphical horsepower as the PS4 GPU, and BF4 is a pretty well optimized game on PC to begin with.
VR games for current gen consoles will be very stripped down graphically, something will have to give in favour of resolution and framerate.
He is right. 1080p Occulus simply isn't good enough to replace monitors for gaming. Too blocky, it is a nice and awesome experience, but not something you use daily. We need at least 1440p Occulus, + a very high refresh rate, at least 80-90fps stable, preferably 120+ to remove motion sickness and have it completely smooth. 90% of people will not have the expensive SLI rigs to run this setup, and the consoles will have no chance at all. VR is still a few years away from mainstream.
Depends on the game imo. Crash Bandicoot 2 speedruns are amazing to watch. The world record required sick amounts of skill.
You experiencing tearing? Why would you even considder Vsync and tripple buffering if you're not having tearing issues? You just add huge amounts of input lag.
