Couldn't care less. Kojima is out, so am I. Good luck Konami.
While I agree that PoE was very good, I still didn't feel like it was close to setting a new standard or anything.
Nothing has ever exceeded the depth and intelligence of MGS2.
All ultra, 1440p, 110 - 140 fps average. Runs pretty well :D
Del Toro was working on it, because he and Kojima have had a long time dream of working together on a project.
Well, good luck to them. Their gaming division wont be missed anyways. It has done its part. I'd rather they go down the drain, than milk the MGS franchise without Kojima.
There are many ways to optimize loading without sacrificing texture quality. Depends on the way the game loads texture, audio etc. They might have improved the way the game streams it, after the stuff within view distance is loaded, etc.
You're a fiddle Snake, in every sense of the word.
Actually, the only purchaseable items in the game are cosmetic ones.
They should sell the IP to a company that actually cares about delivering quality games.
He is still working with Konami until MGSV is done.
I've heard the term Kojimadence lately.
If I go without coffee for 2 days, I get mad headaches. Drink a cup, wait 20 minutes, all fine again :D
Why do people think he was fired with immediate effect? It has been stated several times that Kojima is staying on board until MGSV is finished.
They based this whole article on an email from a journalist to the doctor, linking to a picture of the similarities.
The doctor responded "I will contact my attourney".
That is not even remotely the same as suing anyone for anything.
They based the doctor's likeness off of Ian Moore, who is also voice acting the character, and happens to look pretty much identical to this guy.
What Larry experiences is depth of field, which can often defocus parts of the screen you are actually trying to look at.
Games have been doing this for well over a decade... Metal Gear Solid 2 was fully mo-capped for crying out loud.
@TorpeAlex Actually, MGS2 was also supposed to be the last one. MGS3 was not supposed to be the last, but Kojimas last, he wanted someone else to make MGS4. Both MGS2 and 4 were meant to end the series though.
Someone doesn't understand how SLI works, or what triple buffering is... There is no way, (not until DX12 and supported games) to get stacked VRAM in SLI.
Check out the very first Metal Gear Solid 1 trailer from 1997, game ended up looking nothing like it. Who complained?
