I really don't see this succeeding. Sega does not have the budget to create a console with a solid software infrastructure, dedicated servers, security, etc. etc.
Sure, they might have games, but it takes a hell of a lot more than that to make it in the console industry right now.
Not a PUBG or Fortnite fanboy, but this comment is just silly. PUBG could lose 80% of it's player base, and still be one of the most popular games out there.
VR is best for sim-games, and requires much more powerful hardware than in any of the current consoles to be any good.

Apart from the higher resolutions - 1440p/4k we can also get a lot more than the measly 30 fps you are getting :)
The problem with this game is that they have dumbed it down immensely. Everyone in the beta say it is super easy, has no endgame, and it is almost impossible to die to anything except in PVP. You can pull entire areas solo, and take on all the mobs, no problem.
Having played Elite since PC beta, I pretty much agree with the 6.5 score at most. The main problem is the lack of content, there really is nothing to do in this game.
The game looks good, but I tried the PC beta, and this has to be the blandest most boring FPS I have played for at least 10 years. Feels like an extremely dumbed down Battlefield game. I was extremely bored after just 30 minutes.
Memory? Fallout 4 needs to be a serious masterpiece if it is to beat Witcher 3 for GOTY imo.
Witcher 3 is one of the best games I have ever played. Story, characters, setting, gameplay, sheer scope, it has it all.
Yes... This past year with God of War, Nier Automata, Breath of the Wild, Mario Odyssey, Horizon, Persona 5, etc. etc. certainly supports this claim... /s
