reads like a preview of the old E3 demo.
Heck yeah. I'm thinking that they want to make sure that they get the 360/PS3 version out and sold before they announce for PS4/One.
Yeah, I'm not sure why people continue to lump these two games together as if they are really similar to each other. The Saint's Row series has moved very far away from the GTA style.
Reviews seem to be mostly positive across the board. but, if you were dissapointed by SR3, then I doubt IV would change your opinion much.
I'd think that if someone is looking forward to GTA V, then pretty much any game during that window would be irrelevant.
Did you play The Third? You probably should play that first, as 4 seems to be similar lots of ways to The Third as opposed to the first 2 games. I believe it is still free on PSN if you are a PLUS memeber (I could be wrong though), so it would be a good to check it out that way.
If the Microsoft had brought the Xbox One out in the state that it is in now, then I believe things would be a lot different. Online requirements were the first major misstep, along with the confusing messaging and being 100 dollars more than the closest competition. The launch games look good, and while they may not be everyone's cup of tea, they are very comparable to what is being offered for the PS4, imo.
Microsoft truly did misjudge the market, as everyone wasn...
The only thing that really bothered me about the Xbox One in its original state was the online requirement. Once they got rid of that, I was good to go. Anything else afterwards is just icing on the cake for me.
Anything like this has the possibility to overheat. I don't think its as simple as just designing it so that it won't overheat. external factors could cause it to overheat, not just what's on the inside of the box.
There's a difference though. Voicing concerns about the things is definitely fine, and it has definitely helped steer the console in the right direction since. However, there are some people that are pure trolling, and never had any intention of buying one in the first place. It isn't too hard to spot the difference at times either.
When does "impressed" mean "surprised?"
That probably isn't likely to happen. At this point, Kinect is considered part of the package. Not having to use it is probably the best that anyone can get right now. If the 500 asking price is too much, then it will eventually come down in price later on down the road and should be a more desirable package for someone looking to buy at 400 and under.
What is so dirty about it? They have been marking off a list of consumer complaints that a lot of people have had since they announced the console. What is wrong with that?
I don't remember them ever confirming that the console could work without Kinect being plugged in. They did say it could be turned off, but this is the first I remember any type of confirmation that the device wouldn't need to be connected to the console. Of course, I could have just missed that confirmation somewhere.
Good. I'll probably always keep mine plugged in, but for people that didn't even want to be bothered with Kinect (people that genuinely had an interest in the One but were reluctant due to Kinect), now they can set the device in a corner somewhere until they actually need it.
Shoot! Gotta hurry up and get home!
LOL. you know, you make a really good point. Pretty much everyone here will more than likely be playing games online anyway, so the paywall won't really matter as it will already be paid for.
One of the reasons I got my Wii U. Platinum will not disappoint!
Very well said, JB
I'm loving both consoles, but right now the only game that makes me want to get a PS4 right now is Second Son, and that isn't even coming out until early '14. I have both preordered, but if it turns out that the Xbox One releases before/around the same time as the PS4, then I may just hold off my PS4 purchase until the Second Son release.
