Would be a good thing to do at some point, but not really necessary at this stage. it would definitely drive the price up, but would be good for those that can afford it and wouldn't mind a portable gaming device to use every now and then. I'm definitely looking forward to remote play actually working this time. The remote play features is a good incentive for me to buy certain multis on the PS4 over the One.
Key words: at launch. Not that serious. It'll come. This title should be changed.
Hopefully, no plans = "we just haven't announced anything yet." Otherwise, not a good move on their part.
Both.
yes please.
Yep.It is a really smart business move. Sony is able to add value to its paid service, while the game makers earn some guaranteed money as well as exposure. Good deal for all parties involved.
This isn't surprising, but it is interesting to hear actual confirmation about how it works.
Yep. Will be my first purchase.
For me, it is difficult to tell if the really nice looking character shots are actual gameplay or cutscenes (which were usually of very high quality on the PS3). I do think this will be a PS4 game, but would be at all surprised if it stays on the PS3.
PS4 most likely
My most anticipated launch window title for PS4
They have already said that there will be a season 2 added to the game that includes 8 more characters next year bringing the total to 16. The game isn't complete. They've basically said as much by announcing seasons of content and regular additions to the game. I think what they are doing now is good for people that want to get into the game early as it continues to grow. Those that want a larger roster can wait until next November if character count is really important. The gam...
I want it. I like the features that it brings and can bring to the platform. I don't look at it as the be all end all for gaming on the console, but an added bonus to it. I work 5 days a week too, have a family. We enjoy games like Dance Central, Just Dance, and Workout related games. The voice control stuff outside of gaming seems interesting to me too. I do see the value of it for my own personal needs, but that's just me. I know that it isn't for everybody.
Okay....well, the more power hasn't really made itself known just yet. Neither of these consoles have reached a peak yet. Heck, they haven’t been released yet. Both will still have room to grow. While one may prove to have an advantage over the other at some point, I doubt we will see huge differences between the two outside of a few 1st party games.
FIFA addition does add better value to the overall package. It is still more expensive than the PS4 and game alone, but there is the Kinect that is included in the box. Yeah, yeah, I know a lot you don't care about Kinect, but it is there and it is a part of the console. with the free game and the included headset, the 500 dollar asking price doesn't seem as bad. Of course, if you've already made up your mind that you aren't interested in what Kinect has to offer, then the ...
well, the trade in deal does last until the 31st of December right? Someone that can't pick up an Xbox One until December for some reason may not want to wait in order to play some of those games. Personally, I can definitely see the benefit of this for Madden and FIFA, but as for the others, I can definitely wait a few weeks and buy the next gen version if I must.
Personally, I don't see a real problem here. You get 6 characters at launch + 2 more characters and story mode added by March for a base price of 20 bucks. 8 Characters isn't a lot, yes. But, it is 20 bucks. I'd understand the complaints if it was 60, or even 40 for just the 8 characters, but that isn't the case. Its a fair 20 bucks, or 40 if you want extra character skins/accessories and the original KI.
I also don't think it is fair to compare thi...
Really looking forward to this, and I'm interested to see the next batch of characters that they plan to release.
Agreed. Change can be good, but change for the sake of change doesn't make sense when you have a successful formula. Call of Duty games have been, at the core, the same game every year with very minimal changes.
It is understandable that some fatigue has set in for some after each release, but the games are still the top sellers every year. Obviously, the vast majority still finds the series to be fun despite the complaints of the vocal minority on the internet.
Well, it is 100 bucks cheaper...
