Honestly, even though it is pretty much a glorified rental, I'd actually be okay with that. I've played certain games on my PS3 that I wouldn't have had it not been for PS+. And really, after I've completed them, I doubt I'd be going back to them much if I had ever discontinued the service. Of course, if there was a game that I knew I really wanted, I would just buy it anyway, so it works out. If Microsoft followed this model, then it would be a good idea, imo. May no...
The games? I'm not sure if this was a serious question or not. If you have to ask the question, then the games on the console don't interest you I guess.
I'm loving the Xbox One and and what it offers, but I can say that I wasn't too thrilled with their earlier policies. The disadvantages outweighed any advantages at the time and were too restrictive. The console is in a much better place right now with room to grow and add some of the more reasonable features back in.
Either way, their early messaging was awful. And really, if they had gotten the message out a bit better than they did, then maybe things would hav...
I've always thought that the whole "American console" thing was wrong. Microsoft may have gained a stronghold of America during the current generation, but it isn't like they have always been on top here. Before the 360, Sony owned the country for two generations and Nintendo was on top before that. Fact is, for some reason or another, the 360 became the go-to console in the US for the current generation and it has nothing to do with US pride.
Just because I wouldn't expect EA to release one version and not the other at the same time. Just my opinion of course. They very well could only hold back the PS4 version. I can only imagine how much the internet would break if that truly happened.
If this is true, then I'd expect the XBO version to be delayed too. Xbox has Forza, though, so at least they have a racer at launch. Strange times right now.
I'm only talking about the Xbox One, not the PS4. The assumption is that if AO is added to the Xbox version then it will take a huge hit to framerate. My argument is that I don't think Dice would even bother adding something into the Xbox One version if they felt it would severely break the performance of the game. If DICE adding it in, then it is because they know they can do it without making the game perform worse.
I doubt that DICE would allow something to completely destroy the framerate of the game. If they felt that adding something to the build would hurt the performance of the game, then I doubt they would do it. Perhaps they can optimize the game enough to the point in which there won't be any significant differences from the pre-patch version?
I really enjoyed this game. Story was a bit of a mess at times, but overall I was hooked into the experience. It isn't a game for everyone, but people are interested in games that rely on story more than gameplay should definitely give the game a rent if they don't feel comfortable with a buy.
Legion:
Of course there would be a reason to release another game after Batman Beyond....
Its called Batman Beyond 2 :)
Wow really? Max has great videos that are very informative and entertaining. And his KI interviews are legit. I watch his stuff all the time.
Lol. Yeah. But beach body workouts are pretty popular, and there is a convenience factor to working out at home. Of course there are other free options out there as well, but everyone has their own preferences. This will be a free entry point for xbox owners to some of these workouts too (initially). And it is much less a game than it is a video workout program with feedback. Definitely a benefit there for people that see value in the total xbox one package.
I'm not sure if they are making fun of the whole fitness thing or not, but Xbox Fitness could be BIG. if they make the subscription to that reasonable after the free period is over, and update it with newer workout programs over time, then that could sell a few xbox's for Beachbody fitness fans.
There was also to be a full retail release as well. PS Plus version was free, but limited in content.
True.
Could be a huge factor for people with both consoles.
I agree. If you liked those games, chances are you will like this one too.
I don't think it damages ps4 sales, but it does possibly damage the potential for the camera.
Doesn't bother me. Looking forward to it.
If I remember correctly, I think the service was extended (indefinitely?) for Xbox 360.
