I love gamerscore - it gives me replay value for games that sometimes don't have it. Plus you know the system is good if Sony had to copy it immediately, faced backlash, and then introduced it later.

With it being shown at Xbox's event too, almost guarantees some sort of exclusivity, not sure if it will just be DLC or whatever, but if they steal it for a complete year...Sony just lost a chunk of console sales.
It would cost Microsoft at least 600M to stop it coming to the PS4 (based on them having to cover Activision's lost sales).
Microsoft made around 720M on the last Call of Duty so they would easily make more than what they to make it exclusive, then partner that with console sales.

I've talked to a lot of the indies at PAX East. A lot have a hard time getting Microsoft's attention to get on XBLA, but it is because of this that it is becoming like Apple Appstore or Steam.
